We provide 2-3 and 5 Full Day programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarten, We also provide a half day morning session for children ages 3 to school age. We are open 7:30 to 5:30 Monday-Friday. The school provides breakfast, a nutritious lunch, and an afternoon snack. Infant formula, special diets, and disposable diapers are to be provided by the parent. Children learn the value of good nutrition and eating habits through their cooking activities in class.
Infant program- Small group, stimulating, safe environment. Individualized care along with learning experiences for growth and development by warm, caring experienced teachers. Ages 3 mos. to 16 mos.
Toddler Program- Creative, educational curriculum with emphasis on individual growth. Time for physical, social, intellectual, and language enrichment. Stresses enjoyment and variety to meet the toddler's needs. Experienced, caring teachers. Ages 16 to 33 mos.
Preschool/Nursery/Kindergarten- Highly trained teachers provide true learning experiences and sound beginning education. Stresses creativity, self-discovery, cognitive development, social interaction, enriched communication skills, and the willingness to learn. Age 2 years 9 mos.- 7 years.
The purpose of Great Beginnings Learning School is to provide learning experiences through a stimulating, caring environment, along with providing opportunities for each child to develop at his or her own pace. Our goal is to help children to become secure, sensitive, creative, independent persons striving to reach their full potential. Our program embodies many of the current proven developments in the fields of child growth and psychology. The school offers structured learning activities and an interest center orientated environment that allows children to make choices and to take an active and joyous part in learning.
