I have been fortunate to have Marisol as my stylist enough times that she remembers my quirks and accommodates them. A true professional. Do not come here the lady who cuts hair here is terrible. It's seriously obvious she hates her job. She didn't listen to my instructions at all. She ended up doing whatever she wanted with my hair. I wanted a small trim gave her specific instructions even showing her with my hand and hair. She just decided to cut the majority of my hair off. She did the EXACT same thing to another guy if you check the reviews. Literally the worse haircut I have ever gotten.Service: Haircut

I just came out of this place. The Wafa woman who cut my hair obviously hates her job. She treated me rudely, scratched my head painfully. I wanted to shorten my hair a little, but she cut it very much and crookedly. The remnants of the hair just stick out something longer and something shorter. I paid for this ugliness, but I will never come here again.
I went here on Christmas eve and got a hair cut. The woman cutting my hair obviously hated her job, and asked me what I wanted and I said take an inch off because I just want to get a trim .but I want to keep it long. I was growing out my hair but she cut the back completely short and took an inch off the top. I asked her how her day was going in the beginning and she ignored me. When she was done she gave me the mirror and I was pretty shocked at how short the back was and i repeated to her that I just wanted to keep it long and that I just wanted to clean it up by get a trim but now my hair was short. She responded with "its okay you have good hair and it'll grow back fast." Unfortunately, I won't be going to a great clips anymore and I was worried about getting a bad haircut since that is what great clips is known for. I will just wait for my barber from now on.Service: Haircut

I have been going here for a couple years now, and each time when the Great Clips system works, it works well. However, more often than not, their notes system seems to fall short on many occasions, resulting in a very unsatisfying experience. On multiple occasions I have outwardly expressed attention towards NOT having a particular look. The times when I am clear and upfront, while it takes a while to explain and be clear, the haircut goes really well and after which I try to encourage the hairdresser to be very specific in the notes for the next haircut. This particular review is for those next haircuts. There seems to be a breakdown of understanding their own notes because each and every time afterwards, the hairdresser will ask if I want the same haircut as last time, repeating back the EXACT notes the previous employee wrote. Of course I agree, even further calling attention to the specific notes. I'm not sure where the breakdown happens, or if it's a misinterpretation of the lingo in the notes, or a language issue, but each and every time it's always the same result, having the haircut I DON'T want. I cannot emphasize how often this has happened. Sure I could go elsewhere, but I have gone elsewhere! It's always the same result no matter where I go, and no matter how clear I am. I was hoping that Great Clips' notes system would really help this process, but it is evident that a breakdown of interpreting the notes leads me to believe that it's not really being paid attention towards. One solution would be to have the hairdresser just clearly repeat back exactly what's written on their notes, and if something is wrong, then the responsibility is on me/the customer to change it. Maybe even going into detail what they're going to do before they actually do it. When the hairdresser says "do you want the same as last time?" There's a level of trust that they understand the notes correctly, and the language used across them is consistent such that it's understood. If not, then this will continue to be a recurring issue.
