I’m always pleased with the service and care. Green Beagle goes beyond my dog’s needs all the time. My dog has been going there since she was 3 months old, She is 9 years old now. They also give me updates during her stay.
I’m a veterinary assistant, and I don’t trust anywhere else for my dog. They are always responsive, require vaccines and preventions, and great at slowly introducing dogs to the group. My dog always loves going here!
Our Dog had a wonderful time here with both boarding and day care. He actively gets excited to get in the car to head over, and positively flies out of the car to go inside. We got many helpful updates about how he was doing while he was boarding there and they took excellent care of him while there. We also got lovely photo updates!
Green Beagle is an amazing place. It is obvious that the staff love animals, and their attention to detail is unmatched. Our pup goes bananas when we pull into the driveway and he is always exhausted at the end of the day. Cats have a great space and get a lot of love as well.
GBL is a safe, transparent, well-staffed and flexible dog boarding/daycare center. They gave my dog a thorough assessment to make sure that he would be comfortable boarding, and discussed what training areas we could work on. During his boarding stay, we got plenty of pictures and a personalized report of how he was doing, including the friends he made, which made my worried self feel much better. : attached is my dog sleeping in the pool - spoiled rotten. When I picked him up after a 3 day board, he wasn't stressed at all and clearly loved the staff he was hanging out with! As soon as we got home, they sent an email out about how the dogs boarded may have been exposed to bordatella, which is sort of like the common cold. If you send your kids to daycare, you can assume they'll probably catch something, right? GBL gave a detailed description of what to look for, although dates the exposed dogs were there may have been useful info. : I appreciate the open communication and how much they care about dogs, both at daycare and overall! And how tired my dog was after daycare! One thing that I talked with the owner about is that they use balanced positive and negative reinforcement training for their dogs. If you care about using purely positive reinforcement training like i do, I would mention that if you are looking for training here and see if they can accommodate that!
Excellent service from beginning to end. I had to reschedule at the last minute and they were so accommodating. I got the full groom and outline clip for my big boy. He looked and felt amazing. We managed to keep him from rolling in the dirt the first day, but 3 days later he has rolled in the grass and dirt multiple times. Amazingly, he still feels soft from the groom, although he is starting to smell more like dirt now. Also, the shedding was DRASTICALLY reduced from the defurminating treatment. This is the best clip he has ever had and a great experience. I only wish they had had room for him to spend a couple hours in daycare.
We have always had great experiences with Green Beagle Lodge. The staff is very attentive to our dog's condition while boarding so we know that even minor problems like an irritated paw will be seen and addressed. We also appreciate their help extending our dog's stay when airline cancellations delayed our return.
I asked a day before boarding my dog if I could bring him early the night before because of an early morning flight and they were very accommodating. I also had to extend my dog’s stay an extra day and it worked out really well. They emailed us updates during the trip too!
We were extremely pleased with the care our dog received at Green Beagle. They were very attentive to him and kept us up to date on his experiences. I highly recommend them for pet day care or boarding.
We adopted our pup about a year ago in the pandemic. The rescue we got him from had very little info about him, and he ended up being much higher energy than we expected especially for our first dog!. Not having a backyard was tough despite 3 walks a day, so we looked into daycare options very early on. Green Beagle was highly recommended by one of our friends. Having that space for Otis to run around off leash was a game changer for us & allowed us to make it work. He loves everyone at Green Beagle and is always SO excited to be there. When we are out of town, we also board him there and know he’s in good hands and is having a blast. We started with a half day weekly and he now goes twice a week, which is the perfect amount of time to keep this energetic, athletic pup from any destructive behaviors in the house while we are working but also not overly stimulated. We also love looking through the daily pictures from when he’s at daycare to see if we can spot him playing. As with any daycare for kids or pets, he gets an illness going around occasionally & has gotten an injury but they let us know immediately and we were able to get him stitched up. Not getting that pent up energy out while he recovered was the tough part, so it’s still well worth it for us. Scheduling is tough unless you book well in advance, but it makes sense because of their great staff, facilities, and just the way they do things grouping dogs by size/energy, dog to staff ratio, naps, rotating through yards. Hopefully they can expand to fit the demand because they’re awesome!
