This was a great place to stay while we were in North Carolina! We needed to be close to Raleigh, which was less than an hour away, and the North Carolina Zoo, which was about an hour away. This hotel is kinda tucked away so there was not a lot of noise but near enough to a major road, so we were able to get places quickly. They had a delightful free breakfast each morning and a gorgeous courtyard to sit out on and enjoy the morning sun. The staff were all super nice. And the room was bigger than I expected! The set up made our stay even better! Also, there was always parking for us, no matter when we got back.
Clean and cozy but the pictures do make the rooms look nicer than they are. Still a nice hotel either way with an outdoor area to relax. We stayed here while in town for surgery at Duke and had all of the accommodations we needed to make our stay comfortable.Rooms: 3/5
Excellent hotel for longer term stays. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. The interior is very clean. There is a full sized fridge, stove, and dish ware so it was great to be able to cook simple things and make coffee in the morning. My only complaint is that the bed sagged quite a bit in the middle and it was obvious that it needed to be replaced. 4.5 stars. We’ve returned to this location twice already because our stays were always near perfect.
Breakfast was slightly better than at other places and room was okay. I understand that hotel rooms can be a bit noisy but here you could hear people walking and talking upstairs and everytime someone in a room next to us turned on the water it was so loud it woke us up. It didn't help that the room door had a big gap on the bottom which we fixed by laying a towel in front of it, but still... I also found it strange that they only do housekeeping on Mondays and Thursdays. We arrived on a Thursday and left on Monday so I can't comment on their service.
Room was nice, it was clean, very comfortable bed. Waited a while for extra pillows, but did get them before bedtime. Always rely on Residence Inn when we travel.Rooms: 5/5
