Welcome to Green Garden Organics, home of the best wheat grass, sunflower greens, pea and buckwheat greens, legumes, custom herbal tea combinations and pure essential oils. We are South Florida's oldest wheat grass grower.
Green Garden Organics Inc. supplies all Florida Whole Foods Markets with certified organic wheatgrass grown at our indoor farm near Miami International Airport. Louis Duncanson says "I grew my first tray of grass 31 years ago." Duncanson, his wife Kim and their small crew also are responsible for the production of the company's premium raw food products.
There is more to Louis and his methods than meets the eye - he is also a licensed nutritionist and works with many Cancer and AIDS patients.
The Duncanson's used to keep an outdoor farm in Coconut Grove, where they live, but say they chose to "grow indoors because of the pollution, acid rain, and lead in the atmosphere, all that stuff.
The U.S. government is the one who started all the testing on wheatgrass years ago, anticipating nuclear war, they were looking for a green superfood that grows fast. People say a shot of wheatgrass is like a blood transfusion."
Louis goes on to say that wheatgrass is full of "Vitamins, minerals, enzymes, over 100 different trace elements, a full spectrum, like potassium, magnesium, zinc, gold, silver, all in trace form. It's also full of chlorophyll and all the vitamins: A, B, C, all that stuff. One ounce has the equivalency to 5 pounds of carrots or 2 and 1/2 pounds of organic vegetables.
Green Garden Organics is recognised as a premium quality natural foods producer and retailer. You will find information about certifications and licenses by clicking the certifications button on this page.
We won't state health claims, because it's illegal, but use our products and let us know how you feel. It's not our side business but our passion. It's our life. Green Garden Organics products are prepared with LOVE. Is your wheatgrass grown with certified OMRI ingredients only and meets NOP standards? Is it grown with UTOPIC water? Is the garden where it is grown cleaned daily? Is the growing facility inspected by Florida Department of Agriculture? Is your wheatgrass grown in a certified garden away from the lead and mercury and other toxic fumes? Are you confident it does not smell of maneur?
