Fantastic food and drinks at this location. Definitely want to try the new seasonal ULTIMATE BURGER. This thing is bacon bacon bacon! Old World crust pizza is a staple, plus Diablo wings. Lots of great priced beers and cocktails. Awesome bang for your buck. Casual atmosphere that’s cozy. Staff is friendly and management is very caring. Great spot!
Good food, but not a lot of it is going to be unique. The Diablo wings are a standout, though. The kids can watch the cooks through the viewing area, and a cook might even hand them a wad of dough so make sure your kids wash their hands BEFORE they start watching, then you can take it home and bake it - quirky, I know. Most of it is pizza and wings, with a lot of other American and Italian food. A good takeout special is their large two-topping pizza and wings combo.
DON'T order Veggie Chicken Pitta - small, nasty tasting dressing and almost no chicken. However, Chicken wings were large, got a lot and very good! Calzones we're Incredible!! Ask for dressing on the side with salad, otherwise they're inconsistent.
Definately one of the best if not THE best Green Mill restaurants in the country. A little difficult to find, which makes it more interesting. Friendliest staff ever. March 28, 2018, uodate...this evening was not good. Pizza soggy and undercooked. Chicken Cacciatore was horrible, chicken was not fresh and appeared as if they were trying house the chicken by drowning it with sauce. The menu states it includes bread with herb butter, which was never served. Really a bad night. Hopefully this is only a one time situation.
Took awhile for anyone to greet us. Food was good and came pretty quick after we ordered.
Food and service were excellent. Nicholas C. 's customer service was fantastic. Coming here again!
I have had multiple experiences at this location, and all have been nothing short of fabulous. The restaurant is clean, and the staff have always been friendly and professional. Amanda is the dining room manager, and I have witnessed her go above and beyond to personally ensure that customer's are cared for. She is personable, kind, and it is obvious she genuinely cares for the people around her. She wants each individual who walks in to have a positive experience. That can be hard to find in a hectic, fast paced industry. I have also witnessed her go over food allergies she knows familiar faces have to the servers to help ensure everything goes smoothly. She is exactly the kind of person you would want to be your manager in a busy environment! She cares for the staff she works with, the customer's that are present, and about creating a quality experience for all of those involved in the restaurant. On top of the great customer service, the food is delicious. There are more casual options which are great for the bar area, and well as fancier seafood pasta options for the dining area. It's a great variety! Once I had the wings at this location I stopped going to other local spots known for wings because Green Mill just destroyed them with the flavor they have! I highly recommend this location. Great individuals work here, the food is great, and the customer service is always genuine.
*Warning* Personally I would never cater a big event with this place. I attended a friends wedding and The food was good! But service was Horrible!!! They literally threw a drink away I had just put down on a table after taking a sip. They seemed to be in a rush. I was told If I wanted eat something more there would be food but when I asked staff they had thrown everything away within 40 minutes of serving. It wasnt a big deal cause we would have pizza later. Eventually it came and I gave the kids some pizza maybe half Hour later I went to get my 4 yr old a slice and other guest as well as myself found they had already thrown all the pizza in trash at least 3 or 4 boxes. If you want to enjoy your event with Good food AND Good SERVICE without having hungry guest then I'd search elsewhere. It's important to get what you pay for and none of us what to pay for bad service. Me and my Husband are planning are 20 yr wedding anniversary with a vowel renewal and were thinking of catering with them but after seeing it for my self I'd rather cater with someone else. 2 stars given for the food but none for the service cause I want MY guest to be able to eat without having to rush the food and drinks before it's tossed in the trash.
Stopped in Saturday before memorial day. Was hungry when we got to our hotel and not sure what was around. Saw this place next door looked at the menu online and thought hell let's give it a shot. Glad we did. It was so hard to pick something I ended up buying two dinners. Excellent. The wing appetizers awesome. My family all enjoyed their food as well. May have to stop again if I am in town
Service! Our waitress was awesome funny seemed to read our minds. Everytime I wanted a refill she would suddenly appear. I give high praise for the cheese cake! Add the chocolate, pecans and Carmel you won't regret it. Pizza is great! Doesn't matter what kind the sauce totally make it awesome My one and only regret was the coconut chicken. Yes I should have said something while I was there but I didn't. My guest gets embarrassed so I didn't I found it to be over cooked. Coconut should be golden brown, ours was very brown and the chicken was very dry. Mind you I will order this again! Over cooked or not I could see the potential in this combination of my favorite things.
