At our well-stocked rug shop in the capital city of Montpelier, Vermont, Green Mountain Hooked Rugs offers a full line of rug hooking supplies. Choose from a wide selection of rug hooks, cutters, frames, patterns, hooked rug kits, backings, and dyes. We stock more than 200 bolts of 100% wool fabric, hand dyed wools, studio swatches, and wool yarn. we are open Wednesday-Saturday, 10-5 PM or by appointment.
Annually we offer two rug hooking programs, Green Mountain Rug School in June at the Vermont Technical College campus in Randolph Center, VT, and Fall Fiesta Rug School in September at the Vermont College of Fine Arts in Montpelier, VT. Both offer traditional and contemporary rug hooking classes and Rest and Rug Hooking Retreat options. Group and private classes and free hook-ins are also available at the shop throughout the year.
