GMHA is dedicated to promoting horsemanship and the preservation of trails and open space. We provide competitive, recreational, and educational events for equestrians in all disciplines.
GMHA is located on 65 picturesque acres in the Vermont hills. Our facility includes:
* Six barns (offering 165 permanent stalls)
* Two temporary stabling areas (total of 35 stalls)
* Four all-weather riding rings
* Roger Maher Visitors Center
* Multiple grass riding areas
* Snack Bar/Café
* Large and small meeting rooms
* Pavillion
* Cross-country course through Intermediate level (Spring 2012)
* Driving hazards and obstacles
* Spectator seating
* An extensive trail network
"The Green Mountain Horse Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the purpose of promoting and encouraging the raising, breeding, care and use of horses; providing facilities where its members may organize and carry out educational clinics and events for the training of horses and riders for trail, equestrian team trials and driving events, and developing and maintaining bridle trails in the State of Vermont and other such activities and purposes as may be desired by the members."
