It started as a hobby for a few members of the Woodstock Young Farmers. . .Tractor Pulling is what we are talking about. We are hometown guys who have traveled all over the east coast to participate in a hobby that has become a “passion”. That passion led to our local organization hosting our own truck and tractor pull. Our Truck and Tractor Pull has been a success for over 20 years now. The proceeds from this event support our community and local schools in many different ways. We give an annual $1,000
scholarship to an FFA senior at Central High School, who is going to further their education in an agricultural related field. We also support attendees of the National FFA Convention, Washington Leadership Conference, County 4-H Clubs, Shenandoah County Fair 4-H and FFA Livestock Show and Sale, and local Boy Scout Troops. Over the last 20+ years, more than $50,000 has been given in support of our youth in our community. We would like to thank all of our sponsors who have been with us from the beginning and those that have recently joined; we greatly appreciate all of them supporting us and the community.
