Green Valley Dental Group was founded in 2008 by James Frantz, DMD and Mark Dorilag, DDS. Their vision was to create a dental practice that treats every patient with dignity and first-rate care. The doctors and staff at Green Valley Dental Group are highly trained, experienced, and exceptionally friendly. We understand that for many, visiting a dentist may be a stressful experience. Dr. James Frantz has been a practicing dentist since 1995, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular / cellular biology from Humboldt State University in 1991. He then attended Temple University School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree in 1995. Dr. Frantz was also a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, where he served from 1992-2002. During his active duty Navy years, he was stationed three years in Okinawa, Japan and two years in San Diego, California. In his spare time, Dr Frantz volunteers his time in various community projects. He also enjoys the company of his family and friends.
Dr. Mark Dorilag attended the University of California, Davis as a biological sciences major. He attended UCLA School of Dentistry receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1994. Born and raised in northern California, Dr. Dorilag has been practicing in the Las Vegas valley since 2001. Dr. Dorilag enjoys cooking, working out, and hiking. He also has run in over 10 half marathons since 2010.
Dr. Jessica Silva is a California native, attending college at the University of California, Davis where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. After receiving her degree, Dr. Silva pursued a specialty in Periodontics to further her training in soft tissue grafting, complex dental implant procedures and bone augmentation. She completed her three-year advanced residency in Periodontics also from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. When not working, Dr. Silva enjoys traveling, eating at delicious restaurants, and spending time with her friends and family!
