The Greenfield Fire Territory was established as Greenfield Fire Department in 1894 to serve the citizens of Greenfield. The fire territory was established between the City of Greenfield and Center Township, Hancock County to better serve all citizens. Greenfield Fire provides fire, technical rescue, advanced life support medical services, and hazardous materials response to the citizens we serve. Our certified inspectors inspect every business and school in our area to make sure all workplaces are safe for the employees and students. The Greenfield Fire Territory is also active with the schools in our response area with severe weather lessons and fire safety week in October.
