Greenoaks Memorial Park and Funeral Home has been a part of the Baton Rouge community since the cemetery's founding in 1949. In 1994, the cemetery added a funeral home to its property that included a spacious and well-appointed chapel, allowing us to provide comprehensive funerary services to our families. Situated on approximately 80 acres, the cemetery's meticulously maintained grounds offer beautiful gardens and majestic oak trees that provide a quiet and picturesque park-like setting in which to honor the memory of your loved one.

Greenoaks Memorial Park and Funeral Home celebrated the opening of its new Greenoaks Life Celebration Reception Center on May 21, 2009. With catering packages and the ability to host up to 200 guests, the reception center serves as a great place for families to gather and remember their loved ones, as well as a place where the community can host business meetings, parties or special gatherings.

Rachel Guidry helped our family with a couple of issues. Her professional way of conducting business was welcomed and appreciated. She was well prepared for our appointments and answered any questions I had. Her team made a long overdue part of my wife's death happen. For that we are grateful. Thanks for walking with us through it. I recommend Rachel without hesitation. You won't be sorry.
What truly sets Greenoaks Funeral Home and Taylor apart is their commitment to celebrating the life of the departed. Rather than focusing solely on the sorrow of the moment, they created an atmosphere that honored the memory and legacy of the individual we were saying goodbye to. The service was a beautiful tribute that captured the essence of their life, leaving a lasting positive impression on everyone in attendance. Taylor and all the staff I worked with are truly amazing.
From the moment I walked through the doors of Greenoaks Funeral Home, I was met with an atmosphere of compassion, professionalism, and genuine care. The remarkable funeral director Taylor, demonstrated a level of empathy that instantly put me at ease. Planning a funeral can be an overwhelming and emotionally taxing process, but Taylor's guidance and support made all the difference.
Taylor's warmth and kindness extended beyond their professional role. They provided emotional support to my family and me, making us feel like we were more than just clients. Their ability to balance professionalism with genuine human connection is a rare gift and made a world of difference during this challenging time.
I wholeheartedly recommend Greenoaks Funeral Home and Taylor to anyone in need of funeral services. Their dedication, compassion, and attention to detail are unparalleled. During a period of grief and loss, having a team that genuinely cares and goes above and beyond makes all the difference. Thank you, Greenoaks Funeral Home and Taylor, for turning a difficult experience into a beautiful and meaningful tribute.
May 31, 2023, I am at my home in Montgomery, Texas when I get word my dad has died, unexpectedly, in his home in Denham Springs, LA. My thoughts of disbelief turned to confusion as I pondered the decisions that I would need to make to ensure his funeral service would be indicative of the honor, respect, and love, of which he was so deserving. Taylor Crosby with Greenoaks assured me the choices I made would be the right ones. Taylor had an answer to my every question, a thought or suggestion for my every worry and she was there for me, emotionally, each step of the way. This burden was more bearable because of the strength, support and professionalism Taylor displayed as my father was laid to rest.
The service, compassion, and attention to detail that Taylor provided our family was exceptional. From the initial contact, to the last minutes in the heat at the gravesite, she was cognizant of our family, our feelings, and our grief. The entire staff, especially Susanne at the reception hall, went above and beyond to make the burden of our loss, less. Thank you so much!
Jennifer Marix-Fisher and Michael made sure that my aunt, Peggy Moore, had all of her wishes granted. Jennifer was so approachable and made a difficult time much easier. Michael was always available to answer questions before aunt Peggy passed. I highly recommend greenoaks and this team to facilitate arrangements at your time of need.
I dealt with 5 different people while planning my mother’s funeral. Although every one was kind, I was constantly confused about who was in charge. Not only that, I had to go from the gravesite to the offices to sign more documents. My understanding is that this is how corporate owned companies are. I was not at all happy. If I could go back, I would not use anything corporate.
I do not understand why they do not have a printer in each room that they meet with the family in to make arrangements and sign papers. Each time they had to print out the papers they had to go upstairs and it took at least 15-20 minutes each time. I voiced my concerns and the receptionist said that the person I should be talking to just went in the room across the hall from where we were. Had i not known he was in there with someone I would have knocked on the door and spoke with him. I'm certain that he had heard me anyway. Why do they not have a $40.00 printer in each office is beyond me. I know that I bought a bunch the day I was there. Very bad business and took up way too much of my time. The day of the service we were told opposite of what we were told the day before as to where to be. Very unorganized because the 2 people there were not communicating. Sad part is that I will have to continue to try and get things done correctly with the people here because my family is buried in the Cemetery. This is something that you may not think is of any importance to you but if you are the person sitting waiting 15-20 minutes each time you will see why I am leaving this. The 2 stars are given for the person that we dealt with that had to go up and down the stairs. She was pleasant and none of this was her fault.
