Greenwood handled the funeral services for my uncle and they did an amazing job! Truly they treated my family like their family. Great communication love and compassion. They made a very difficult time for my family much easier with their love compassion and commitment to burying my uncle Greg with dignity and compassion. I would recommend them to anyone who is facing the loss of a loved one and need a good funeral home that will go above and beyond to make your loved ones memorial and end of life services beautiful. Thank you for all the staff for what you did to honor my uncle Greg and being a blessing to the Cunningham family.
Every time I come to visit, which is very rare, I visit my father's grave which is located in the area that is dedicated to the military and Every time I come by, the flags are always in terrible shape. Today is April 1st 2023, I will come visit May 1st 2023 and I hope to see a change because it mattered to my father. Thank you.
Greenwood did an amazing job from start to finish. Francisco, Nancy, Patty and Jaime was great to work with. Everyone was professional and very helpful. This review is on behalf of my husband, William Sung, who buried his father here at Greenwood just yesterday. We chose this mortuary based on location and referral from a close neighbor, who connected us with Stephen Watts, and ensured we had the best possible & smooth experience. Despite not being able to bury my father-in-law at the first plot because of water line issues & finding out the day of the viewing, Greenwood staff communicated early & helped us find a secondary location which was easy to find and convenient. Thank you to Ruben, our funeral director, for taking care of us both days and had 2 additional staff to help set up tables and chairs to host lunch in the courtyard after the funeral. Ruben was professional, always available, catered to our requests, made sure both days ran smoothly, and handled my father-in-law very delicately. Also thank you to Yvonne, the cosmetologist, for a wonderful job in bringing “life” to my father-in-law’s face and was so well done he looked as if he was peacefully sleeping.
My sister and I are always treated with kindness and respect. Our Greenwood family counselor has known us since 2017 and when we recently turned to her for our own needs she was present and professional at all times.
Gabe had came up to me and had enlightened me and gave me hopes to seeing my wonderful grandmother in my dreams. I thank him for enlightening me with life and death. A wonderful individual. Also patty during the viewing is an amazing woman automatically making me feel welcomed almost like she knew me and was family.
As a family we where very happy with all the services and care that was provided at the time of our mothers passing. We noted several other plots with special Momentos for the the loved ones on the plots themselves, even though the rules are that things where not to be kept there long term. we in turn did the same. We added items that where used by our loved one and kept in her possession . We where abruptly informed that those items had been removed and discarded. While we understand the rules of the property, the kind and humane thing to do would have been to notify us that we should retrieve these items. They are one of a kind momentos we could never get back. The family is very distraught and disappointed by this. Please be aware if this in the future. Allow time for family to pick up such items.
Each member of the staff at Greenwood performed their duties with integrity and respect. From Yvette, with whom we met initially, to the two groundskeepers, who laid our mother to rest and set her gravestone. Each person we dealt with was professional and respectful and we would highly recommend Greenwood to family and friends. In fact, we already have! Thank you Greenwood, for taking care of us at such a difficult time.
We held a Celebration Of Life for my mother at Greenwood Memorial Park. Yvette Lynch went above and beyond to provide professional yet sensitive guidance as we navigated through a difficult time. She was understanding and patient as we made difficult decisions. We had a beautiful service and every detail was perfect. Our deepest thanks to Yvette and her staff.
