I recently built a house in Gretna and always have something to work on at home. Ace has been awesome for the many supplies I need. They have a good selection of tools but the best thing about this store is their employees and their awesome customer service. Sometimes I have to shop at Lowe's, but it's never fun when you can't find what you need and no employees are around. That never happens here - every employee I've talked to helps you find what you need right away. It's just kind of a lost art these days, but it's a simple way to keep your customers coming back. Ace in Gretna is a great place to shop.
We were in a hurry, but with only one register open, the cashier continued to chat with the customers ahead of us who had already been checked out for several more minutes. I know, not the worst problem to have. He was very kind and friendly, but we really just needed to run in and get one item then be on our way.
They have really done a great job with their expansion into the new building. Yes you are going to pay a little more than the big box stores, but it makes up for it in both convenience and better trained help. Often the time i save driving 3 minutes to Ace more than makes up for the 20-30 minute drive to menards/ home depot, in terms of time and gas costs. They do have a smaller selection with respect to odd sizes and number of brands, but for most items you can find what you are looking for.
They had exactly what I needed. Friendly and helpful people. Nice store.
I was in Gretna for church service so I stopped at this Ace hardware for the first time. It is just like my regular one, full of almost anything you could be looking for. I have always been able to find what I went to an Ace store for.
Very good place to get hardware and tools. The staff are very helpful and can locate the item in need very quick.
Staff is remarkable, great selection, large new store. Great asset to the community!

Helpful, courteous employees, good prices and good selection made for a pleasant experience. It's my go-to store for my house and garden needs.
