It could definetly be cleaned more often but other then that it has the main things you could posibly use at a bus station. Restrooms, water fountains that actually work, food, snacks, smoking area, and benches to sit.
Horrible experience. Doesn’t worth even a single star. Rude staff, unmanaged schedule and nasty restrooms are it’s peculiarities. That tall lady at the counter was unbearable but the other lady was just so helpful and kind. The bus from Atlanta left us in Jackson at 2pm and the staff at MS said they don’t have driver to take us to Dallas,TX. They kept pushing the schedule from 5 to 10pm next day. This place have serious issue. DONOT Recommend!
The whole station smells like urine For some reason there is a mustang parked right out front of the doors on the sidewalk that avis security guard who thinks he's robocop looked real agitated..i would be as well of every breath I took smelled like a toilet
So far my trip has been overall a positive experience. Due to a flat tire one of our busses were around 3 hours late and missed the only bus for our route for the day but greyhound put us up in a 3star hotel for the night and provided uber between the hotel and the bus station. Most of the drivers were nice easy going people. I wish I took more pictures to share.
Needs to be cleaned up around the bus area badly. The bathrooms have no toilet paper in any of the stalls, the soap dispenser are broken. Thank goodness for me carrying my own supplies. Also how can I have a bus ticket and can't even sit in the bus station? I was told I checked in to early and I would have to sit outside until 2 hours before my bus leaves then a few minutes later they said I have to sit outside until an hour before my bus leaves. They locked the doors and only open them halfway to say you can't come in. sad but true. I get that there's a lot of homeless people who sit around the bus station, however if I paid I should be able to sit in the bus station. Maybe they need more or better security.
I remember when this station was first opened. It was one of the nicest Greyhound stations in the southeast. It had all the comforts a person could expect. It was modern, clean, and a safe place. I've been traveling a lot by bus lately, and I was surprised at how much this station has changed. It's so rundown now. The bathrooms are not cleaned and stocked well. Usually, no toilet paper, soap or paper towels are available for use. I hate seeing a place that is so necessary to the public not be maintained any better than Greyhound and Amtrak. I realize it is a public facility and there is a lot of foot traffic in the place, but more effort should be taken to keep it maintained. It is in the down town area of Jackson. We need to bring all the pride to our city possible. Keeping our Greyhound station as nice as possible would be a great start.
Last Wed, I received great assistance from the security guard there and was able to make the 7pm bus from Jackson to ATL!! The bus driver was so courteous!! On time. Safe driver. The drivers are normally courteous. But these 2 men went above and beyond. I couldn't give a 5 star because the women's bathroom is
After getting a ticket 3 days in advance of when I absolutely had to be at my destination; I was still late to the funeral I was traveling to. My first bus was broken and cancelled by greyhound and I just so happened to check on it. My second bus was never showed up and vanished into the twilight zone so they rescheduled my ticket AGAIN. Third bus finally runs appropriately. Then my 2.5 hour layover becomes a 4.5 hour layover. And this is only half my trip. I'm excessively disappointed by my experience and definitely don't at all feel I was treated appropriate. I will NEVER EVER EVER use greyhound EVER AGAIN.
I expected to be on the bus awhile but it's packed and if you miss one bus. By your bus getting a accident not customers fault it adds 12 hrs to getting where your going. That driver should have had to drive us to our next destination and we all deserve some kind if refund 2 of the customers could have been really hurt Nd it was the drivers fault. Hire more people hire better people. We aren't sardines
They didn't have a driver in Winston Salem so we sat there for 5 hrs then the same driver went to Charlotte and we stayed there for literally 6 more hrs. Greyhound is ok..but if your traveling far its not comfortable at all
