Reiki is a Japanese technique to reduce stress, promotes relaxation that also stimulates healing.
There is a knowledge that an energy that we are unable to see flows through all living things. This energy directly effects the quality of our life. We have all experienced being tired and run down, feeling low and then coming down with a cold or flu.
When we are feeling low it is more difficult to deal with stress,we have more difficulty sleeping, and become more open to an illness.
Reiki is a natural means to assist in enhancing your health and well being.
A Reiki treatment begins with a client lying fully clothed on a massage table but can be also given when sitting or standing. The practitioner places their hands near or on a clients body in a series of hand positions. Some of these positions include the head, shoulders, stomach and feet. The hands of the practitioner are simply held at each location or slightly above the body, Reiki energy flows from the practitioners hands into the clients body and field of energy.
Reiki treatments can bring feelings of peace and relaxation, as thought they are surrounded by a glowing radiance and can promote healing.
A treatment usually last for 45 minutes, they can be given longer or shorter.
Reiki practitioners and clients have reported help with:

- headaches
- insomnia
- nausea
- and other minor conditions
It also helps promote healing of psychological matters such as :
anger
emotional upset
sadness
fear
worry

At the beginning of the treatment we blend a combination of oils to meet you where you are, help support you and gently help assists your healing intention.
