While the theater itself is very nice, they did not have enough employees to accommodate the number of guests they had. We waited 45 minutes not an exaggeration just to buy popcorn—which makes sense as there was only one employee behind the counter. Even though we made it on time to the movie we happened to be there SUPER early, others did not and people were loudly walking in for the first 30 minutes of the movie which was extremely disruptive. Save your money and wait for it to come to streaming service or go somewhere else. This was not a good experience. See below photos of the concession line when we arrived and we left.
I love Pooler Cinemas! However, they are very short staffed. Usually, it's clean and the staff are friendly...Today, seeing The Little Mermaid... it was obviously not a good day! They needed about 5 more employees!
This cinema has become my go to after just 1 visit. Very clean for a cinema, fast service and the seat were not only comfortable but reclined and plenty of leg room even with feet raised. Which is very important being over 6 feet.
I invited my husband for his birthday to this theater and I paid $ extra for the GTX theater experience. Sadly it was Impossible to enjoy the movie Avatar with all the wall lights on . I spoke with the manager during the movie and he said that they keep those lights on for safety reasons. It was very embarrassing and disappointing experience. I have been in a lot of movie theaters in United States and overseas I have never watched a movie with those lights being on so bright.
Coming here to unwind and watch a movie with my family has always been pleasant. These are some hard working employees who check you in, serve you and clean up. The theater chairs recline. The surround sound is great! Multi level seating. Clean bathrooms. This is a popular hot spot while in pooler,ga. I highly recommend watching a movie here.
Stood in line for 30 minutes to get tickets. The was at one point only 2 cashiers handling the concessions. One disappeared for 10 minutes, causing a severe back up. No manager were to be found. Not the cashier fault but really bad customer service
I really like the seats in the theater, they recline, they also offer a kids combo for $7, you get a small drink, a fun size candy, and a heaping scoop of popcorn.
Me and hubby came here for a date night as we are watching a movie I wanted a pizza so my husband goes to get me one when he brings it back the pizza has ice on it. It was not done what so ever and I’m highly disappointed at the concession stand and won’t be back to purchase anything. Not to mention I paid $10 for it
They may want to consider having more people working the concession stand. It took us over 30 minutes to get our snacks and drinks.
Bought my tickets online. Had to pay 1.50 extra for buying the tickets online. When I got to the movie theater the ac was not working in that theater. The least that they should do is refund all my money or give me credit for another movie. But no I lost money and didn't get to see my movie. Never go back to this movie theater again. Bad customer service.
