This little market is always clean and the service is great. They have everything you would need for Pozole or Menudo unlike some of the other stores. Their dried spices and Chile's are always stocked and the produce is always fresh. They also have a carniceria meat counter and you can get cooked hot food as well. It's always been good.
Fresh corn tortillas, Hot & delicious! I make tacos, enchiladas and chips from them and they turn out so much better than the ones from the regular grocery. try em and you'll be hooked!
Looking for a Mexican market in the area I found this incredible find that truly has all the cookware and products needed for tamales, propane cookers and large BBQ cookware and more. Dried Chiles and seasonings in packages and grocery items and many familiar Latin inspired products . A great delight in Grover Beach to stop in for and friendly staff.
I'm pretty sure they are racist and they all look at you like your stealing stuff and don't have the testicular fortitude to ask you to empty your pockets. Instead they insist on secretly calling the cops and wasting the poor police mans time on me and I gladly had him search my person and of course they found nothing since I didn't take anything lol I mean come on now
DONT CASH CHECKS HERE they will waste your time. Very rude and wouldn’t cash my paycheck even though I opened the sealed envelope in front of him. No reason, he just didn’t want to cash my check. I had my work uniform on also, which is written on my paycheck.
Poor customer service. Bought a $50.00 cooking stove only to find out the stove top pieces off gased this horrible toxic chemical smell. They were painted/coated for some reason. When we tried to return it and explained the issue they wouldn't refund us or do store credit and were very rude
Best market in Grover Beach. Would much rather shop here than the corporate chain supermarkets. Friendly staff greets you as you enter. Wonderful, fresh produce and a great meat counter. Can't beat the prices either.
Love it. The store is clean and smells clean. The workers are nice and helpful. Today we bought chicharonnes a table cover with the clear plastic plus other things.
Lines are usually short and quick, has pretty much everything you need for a Mexican menu. They have everything from snacks, piñatas, tortilla makers, meats etc. And the people are really nice
We were craving tamales and feeling a lil too lazy to make them ourselves so we picked some up from Guadalajara Market, they were TERRIBLE. We tried all 3 types: beef, chicken, and sweet corn. They were so dry, we were choking. A sad sad day when the tamales are this bad.
