The Guild was founded in 1953 to serve Point Pleasant Hospital and has transitioned over the years to grow along with Ocean Medical Center’s expansion and increased health related services for the community.
The Guild is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization committed to supporting the highest level of health care locally by funding educational and other health care related services at the hospital and throughout the community.
The Guild of Ocean Medical Center’s generous commitment continued throughout 2014. In addition to support of the new Emergency Department, the Guild also funded a neoBLUE® LED Phototherapy System for newborns at the Hospital. A special thank you to Susan Scherler, chair of the Guild, and all of its members for making a substantial impact.
