Guilderland vision care has been recommended to us by a family friend for our 6 year old daughter. The gentle and tender care they took with her reassured us that these recommendations are merited. They were especially accommodating with warranty replacement and repair of the glasses we purchased.
I have agoraphobia and anxiety disorder. I spent a year post COVID trying to psychologically get myself geared up to leave my house and especially go to the eye doctor because I was overdue for an appointment. There are very few out there who understand anxiety disorder and she gets it. I walked in with so much anxiety I almost walked right back out, but she helped me! And I am so grateful that I was able to do it!!!! If you have any sort of anxiety it is hard to find a doctor in another profession who gets mental health. You are safe there. This eye doctor does, and I can't highly recommend enough!!!!

Dr. McCann is an excellent clinician who I saw for years, transferring from her old practice to this one, and have referred many of my friends and family to. She is highly skilled and competent in her profession.
Dr. McCann and her staff are absolutely amazing! My young daughter was very nervous to go to her first eye exam and the receptionist was so kind to her upon entering. Dr. McCann was so thorough, explained everything, and treated my daughter with kindness and care. I plan to switch my own care from a franchise to Guilderland Vision Care.

Being a nurse can make me a picky patient, so when I say that the care I received was super top notch- I mean it! The staff was fast, efficient, and friendly, COVID precautions were excellent, and Dr McCann was thorough and has an amazing bedside manner. A+ all-around!
A very thorough eye exam and I feel Dr. McCann is professional and charming. She explained things about my eye in a way I could understand and is generously concerned about my vision. I brought my whole family here and it is absolutely a family environment. The staff treated my kids with the utmost patience and engaged with them.I didn’t feel I was pressured into any sort of upselling and was able to get the glasses I liked. Dr. McCann has and will always be my optometrist. I definitely recommend guilderland vision care to anyone looking to see better.
Dr. El-Hag changes my view on contacts pun intended and got me fitted in the most comfortable ones I've ever had. She is up on all the current medical literature on eye care and worked patiently with me to get to a workable solution for my eye care.
Dr. McCann is by far the best optometrist my family has ever seen. She is always thorough and determined to find answers when I have had puzzling vision issues. Since seeing her I have never had an issue with my perscription being incorrect. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
