Guitar Center

Walked in with my accoustic. Told the tech I wanted it to play easier. A quick neck adjustment is all it needed. Played much better. He also did an overall inspection of the guitar. In and out in 20 minutes. Very nice people and great service!

Wonderful experience here at Guitar Center South Bend. I brought my guitar in and Nolan and Ryq were both warm in welcoming me and helping out for a good while. Nolan went above and beyond in helping find the right amp, and he's definitely one of the nicest and attentive retail guys I've ever met. I was quite indecisive, but he was there every step of the way in making sure I'd find the right sound. Any manager would be lucky to have him around. Ryq was also attentive and answered every question with great personal input, even bringing a pedal around. They both made Guitar Center feel like a mom and pop shop's service, and that's a golden sign to make a visit! Thank you guys so much :

Do not go to this place. They will make fun of you if you take your time to decide what you want or if your misguided by another sales person they will try to re direct you and not fix the mix up. One employee about 6 foot 5 with black hair and a beard wanted to fight me in the store and made assault advanment twords me, when i said another employee made a false salse pitch to me. And this employee pushed me and my mother out the door and hit my mother's arm with the door as he pushed her out.

They're were great until I actually had to fix something. Beforehand they've been great for buying and selling, but some used items were a little overpriced, and sometimes they'd buy something for less than it's worth. So that's whatever, fine service. However, I had an electric guitar where the grounding wire came loose from the input jack, so I had them fix it. First off they charged $25 for a repair I watched somebody do in 5 minutes on youtube. I would do it myself, but I have no experience with a sautering iron so I figured whatever it's a good guitar so I'll pay up. They said it was all fixed, so I came back to pick it up. I didn't have time to test it out because I was really on a time crunch so I got in and out. When I got home and tested out the guitar it still doesn't work. However, I know this is because the grounding wire is touching the hot wire because if I put it at random angles, sound will sometimes cut in and out. So basically they did a sloppy job. Congrats guitar center, you've lost one customer. I'll stick to Sweetwater from now on.

Have not had a bad experience at this store. Salespeople are friendly, knowledgeable & don’t try to up sell you. Steve the setup tech is a absolute pro. Instructors are excellent.

I dropped my husband guitar,that guy did beautiful work. When I came to pick it up they were not sure where it was, an no bill. I found it hanging on the wall like it was for sale with a tag on it. When ask about things about the guitar he was not very nice. I Will still come here since this is the only one around. The guy that I gave him the guitar with a note my husband game me. He does excellent work.

Feels very hostile. Most nice guitars are locked. Missing many major brands. A few guitars on walls are damaged, set up wrong, or missing strings.

They are so helpful, and do not pressure you to buy anything. It's a wonderful experience, as you can try out the guitars, and keyboards. It is a highly professional Guitar Center. I am always pleased with the top quality too.
