At Gwynedd Friends School, children are actively learning through play each day in their classrooms and outside in our natural play spaces.
Gwynedd Friends School offers an educational program rooted in Quaker values to preschool and kindergarten-aged children. Children become independent, reflective, and confident learners, while developing a sense of identity and respect for others in the community.
The foundation of our school is the Quaker belief that there is "that of God" in every person. We seek to nurture and celebrate this Light in every one of our students. All aspects of our program touch on that principle. We believe that hands-on discoveries and the exploration of the natural world are important tasks of the young child. At Gwynedd Friends School, each student develops a sense of identity and respect for others as he/she works to become a contributing member of our community of learners.
