Gym @ W. E. Hunt Community Center

We are a growing youth based Christian track & field club out of Fuquay-Varina, NC and the W.E. Hunt Center has been nothing but a blessing for us when our practices are rained out. From the front desk staff to the members who tolerate us when we get a bit noisey , this center has been nothing short of kind and welcoming. They are currently killing my grandmother. They have starved her for 5 days by heavily sedating her so they don’t have to deal with her telling them she wants to leave and not permitting a feeding tube or any other nutritional assistance, they have denied her the ability to discharge herself from the hospital, they have gone against our wishes and given her medicines that cause serious side effects against our wishes. Denied her her prescription pain medications and have now taken away her rights to her own decisions and body. I wouldn’t trust my worst enemy to be treated in this facility. Go to kimberlyjewells on TikTok and watch her story and what they’ve done to her. May God have mercy on their souls.

I attended an event of a gender reveal that my son rented a space for. I have never out of all the venues or areas we've rented we have NEVER experienced a staff that's very rude,disrespectful, unprofessional and bad attitude!!! How about first a lady walked in during our event in front of all the guest and our time was about up, then too top it off later a man just walked and the same way and said to my son you have 8 minutes and then walked out he very hostile and angry, I'm like I know this ain't happening, first of all this was paid for that's not how you treat customers, they have poor customer service skills and act like it was free for us to be there. They need too be reported to the better bureau business it's a Sorry mess, I mean who they think they are and should be careful who they approach any kind of way you never know a person. This area isn't all that anyway to have that kind of attitude for what who think want to come back too such terrible customer service, hostile behavior and nasty attitude you'll never receive my money for a horrible experience as such as this, they ruined our event pretty much!!! Don't go there!! Not worth the headache!! Stay away!!

Now, that the weather is getting colder, it's nice to run on the track. It's never crowded. Enjoy the different machines to work out on.

They have weights and equipment if that’s what you need for the price. The basketball gym is a nightmare to access due to the constant rotation of kids on track out plus Rec programs. Only one gym. You have to play when they open very early, or you sometimes get 1 hour from 9-10pm. The music upstairs rivals that of a college nightclub when they play it. No need for it to be that loud if you ask me. The staff downstairs are aware. The temperature for the track upstairs is high and there are no fans, open windows or moving air. So it’s hot when you run, and the heat is on in the cooler months which makes it worse/stuffy. The prices again, reflects what you get. The staff are fine. It’s clean.

Upon the second floor of the recreation center is housed an indoor jogging track. It is great for exercise during a major rainstorm. The basketball gym should be set for reservations earlier than expected. It is normally reserved for school-aged children in after-school care. Any major games should be planned in advance. They do have a proper gym in the building, but I would avoid putting money down on a membership more of a personal decision on my part.

Amazing facility for a small but quick growing town. The gym facility has everything you need and the indoor track is perfect for walking or running in a temperature controlled environment. The rest of the facilities provide space for recreation leagues, dance classes, aerobics, and a slew of other activities. Couldn't ask for a better community center.

Nice facility, but eveeytime there is a workout class upstairs, they blast the music. I even heard it outside the building from the parking lot. It is pretty disrespectful to others who are trying to enjoy their workouts with their own music. I hear the workout class music over my headphones! Please someone correct this issue!

Absolutely terrible. The gym itself has not too much to offer compared to other gyms that go for the same rate with way more. The staff is terribly rude especially the older woman with the long hair I wouldn’t recommend it for anybody who’s actually trying to have a real gym experience.

Great facility for the whole family. The Indoor Track is free to the public and the perfect way to beat the summer heat and there are plenty of other well-priced programs & services to support fitness and family. Lucky to have this in Holly Springs.
