I went with my three daughters with ear aches and found it to be a good hospital. Nice nurse and staff. Wait time display on TV was close 4 hour Doctor was very nice with kids amd reassuring regarding treatment plan. Thank you. Obviously it is prioritized according to severity of case but felt it was fair.
Waiting times constantly change. You see 2hrs wait, 4 hrs goes by and it changes to 6hrs etc..walked out. But hey hospital still gets to charge your health card and get paid which I find unfair and not okay.
For context, I work with lead and my workplace does not provide proper saftey equipment for solder fumes. I go in and immediately the nurse makes me feel super uncomfortable. As I'm explain to her my syptoms, considering my work conditions, I assume its due to that. Proceeds to give me attitude, she then ask if I wanted advil and/or tylonol, I reject, then continues to judge me for it. Afterwards, I get sent in and I tell the doctor ARosenbloom my situation and my symptoms. He then starts to make me feel super uncomfortable and proceeds to tell me that LEAD FUMES are NON-TOXIC?? I left, any true doctor would know injesting lead in any way is dangerous and making me feel helpless and stupid for even bothering to get help.
Just 4 years ago and earlier this hospital was a 45 minute wait. Now, it is 3 -5 hours. When I asked a Doctor what happened I was told it's the computer system they are using now. Must be from the creators of the Phoenix system. Great job Government.
My mother and sister went to the emergency 3 days ago and the service that they received is appalling, I understand that they are stressed and short staffed but it doesn't excuse the service that they had received. First the triage nurse was extraordinary rude and refused to speak English then the nurse was also refusing to speak to them in English even though they are in Ontario and my mother and sister first Language is English, then same issue with the doctor. They have 0 right to refuse to serve anyone in English it is their duty to serve their patients in the patients preferred language so everything is understood. We've always have issues with this hospital and there is no excuse for any of this
Literally the worst service ever. They make you wait for hours on end and put other patients that came after you, before you. They all sit in the back talking and laughing.
I understand this is a hospital and waiting times can vary greatly but they should be able to give an approximation of wait time when I’m calling in to see if I should visit this hospital or another near by. If you tell me it’s a 15 hour wait approximately I’ll look to go to a different hospital. If you say 2 hours I would be willing to drive the hour long drive and take my chances. Stupid Canadian health care system.
Super amazing, friendly nurses and doctors there. Was very impressed by how friendly they were.
I wouldn't even bring my dogs to this place, other words, it's a horrible place and alot of UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF..Hawksbury or Winchester is the best places for professional services.
Horrible experience Would not go back even if I was dying
