I've seen this place for many years and I always wanted to give it a try. So today I had Barbacoa with hand made tortillas, it had good flavor, and a nice presentation, my friend ordered Caldo de Res beef stew, the place is small like 12 tables, the service was good, even tho is was only one waitress, she was busy but helpful. The food has good taste. I'll definitely will come back again and try another dish. Highly Recommended!!
At first free tortilla chips and salsa. They tasted great, a plus to start off. I ordered the Mixed Fajitas and they were delicious. Their rice and beans are some of the best I've tasted. I'll be back again!
Kept hearing about this place and finally got around to stopping by. The food was ok, the service was mediocre only one waitress. Even though they are known for their creative michiladas, I went with just beer, can never go wrong with that choice. It's a hole in the wall place so don't expect a lot when it comes to decor. and prices were average. I won't give it a second visit. Plenty of other better Mexican restaurants to choose from.
I have been to a lot of Mexican restaurants since I moved here to Pomona from Boyle Heights. So far I would say this is the most authentic mexican food I have had. The waitress was very nice and the food was good. Will come back.
Despite all the comments i read, i wanted to verify for myself. I got the Caldo de Res soup. It was delicious especially with the handmade tortillas. I liked the service very polite, great customer service, all dishes look good i wanted to try everything but was set on the soup. I will definitely come back and i recommend this place. Note its a Mexican Restaurant not a sports club for NASCAR! LOL.
I come here almost weekly. Delicious, authentic Mexican food. Service is usually good. Food always tastes like it is loved. No doubt the cooks here put passion into their business.
what we ended up ordering was delicious but they had run out of alot of food AND drinks by the time we got there, before 6 on a friday. hopefully this isnt something that happens often. besides that, definitely a place i recommend for good freshly made mexican cuisine. muy sabroso
First time trying it will never go back. Ordered the taquatio plate for I think 10.99 picture of course showed them covered in guacamole and sour cream had maybe a spoon and a squirt of sour cream but what got me the most is the amout of rice and beans it was maybe a ice scream scoop of each usually mexican places aren't stingy with that.
Food was amazing and reasonably priced. Could use a more livelier atmosphere and improvement on decor. We could not tell if the place was open because the glass does not allow you to see inside.
Food was okay, All TV's on soccer while Indy 500 was happening. Trip back to bathroom was a trip! Not bad but probably won't be back.
