Hackensack Meridian Health Pascack Valley Medical Center. Took care of my wife before and after back surgery. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Plus made her and our experience wonderful. Thank you very much
Out of all the hospitals I've ever been in, and I've been in many, this place was great. They staff was attentive and friendly, they didn't just stick me in a room and leave me there. They came in routinely to check on me, I am always cold and everytime I mentioned it, they threw a nice warm blanket on me!!
I gave birth here 2 weeks ago. My third baby. First two I gave birth in Hackensack main which I thought I had a good experience but this time with my third I have to say I would choose this hospital over Hackensack main. The nurses were amazing. I wish I can name them all. They truly care for you and are so knowledgeable. From start to finish they made sure I was taken care of. The anesthesiologist, he was incredible! This was by far the best birth experience!
overall it is excellent. with caring and cautious for the patients wellness. If I had a complaint to really think of I would say that ER is a bit of a problem due to the overcrowding but the last time I was there a few years ago so it may have improved However the in-patient units I have seen are excellent, when a loved one who had to be in patient for over a week most of the nurses and doctors were excellent, caring helpful attentive and concerned with the patients going above and beyond typical care. With very few exceptions. Respiritory health specialists were very professional but kind, considerate and opened about answering questions.
Went to ER with abdominal pain. Last thing i expected was emergency surgery. However, everyone was incredibly professional and caring. The care was top notch. Staff and nurses were amazing. Dr kept me informed every step of way. Beyond grateful to everyone from the moment i walked into the ER to discharge. Thank you to all and keep up the great work!!!
I gave birth here a few weeks ago and it was a great experience. It’s a quiet hospital and I appreciated that, especially since my first delivery was at Mount Sinai in Manhattan which was anything but a calm environment. My nurse in L&D named Sue was an absolute godsend during this delivery. She went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, explained things thoroughly and kept my doctor in the loop on how I was progressing so that he could be there for the delivery on time. When receiving the epidural, Sue held my body close to hers and helped me breathe through the pain which for me was worse than the labor itself. I can’t thank her enough for her support through it all. All of the nurses at the hospital were kind and caring. I never felt like I was in poor hands. The food was pretty good and you can order meals for your support person as well. They have options to suit dietary restrictions and preferences. I would absolutely choose to deliver here again!
Overall good experience with caring staff and knowledgeable physicians. Social services Department not engaged with families, often rushing to get patient out of hospital once doctors okay release. This department lacks timely communication skills.
From registration to discharge I encountered very courteous and professional staff and service. My surgical team did a wonderful job. The post operation team was very concerned about my pain and comfort. The food was very good and served hot. They have reached out to me checking on my recovery. Highly recommended without reservation.
My experience at Hackensack Meridian Health was exceptional. From the time I stepped into the building I was greeted by a staff person who had a big smile and asking if they could help. Everyone at this facility is caring and compassionate. I had surgery and talking with the staff I was included in my care.this was a wonderful experience. I can’t say enough about this hospital. I just want to say thank you for this experience
In April I took my daughter to the ER at PVH. They were wonderful from the moment we arrived to getting her in a room to begin treatment! The nurses were great. She was then taken to 4W, where her excellent care continued. I cannot say enough about the dedicated staff, from the Unit Secretary, Penny Davis and the team of nurses, my daughters care was exceptional!! Her surgery was scheduled for May 30th. We arrived at 7:30 and everything ran like a Swiss Watch. We were sent to 2W where they were all so wonderful and took great care to prepare my daughter for her surgery. Dr. Craig Wiener did her surgery and he is not only an exceptionally talented doctor and surgeon but a wonderful and compassionate man!!!! He puts everyone at ease and truly cares about his patients and their family!!!! I wish I could give 50 stars for the exceptional dedication from everyone involved with my daughter’s care!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such great care of my daughter!! I truly appreciate every single one of you!
