Hamblen County's Imagination Library is a FREE literacy program that provides high-quality books to children once a month until their fifth.
General Information:
HCEXCELL of Hamblen County is excited to lead the Imagination Library/Books from Birth Partnership. This program distributes free, monthly, high quality and age appropriate books to children from birth to age five across Hamblen County.
Books from Birth is not fully funded by Dolly Paton, the State of Tennessee, or the governor. Each county raises its own funds to operate. You can make a big difference by volunteering, donating, and spreading the word.
Reading to young children before they set foot in kindergarten is one of the simplest and most effective ways to ensure their school success.
