Always nice and quiet. Haven't been in a long time. Really enjoyed it! Have a lot more services than most people realize. Especially me can purchase Wi-Fi hotspot. It's got a place for you and your family to go and have a good time and learn lots of computers
Getting a library card is almost impossible. Staff are not great. The library has a decent selection of books, movies, one study room, and computers assuming you can get a library card. But good luck asking the staff anything. They don't seem to want to help or are quick to dismiss. They don't really help with anything outside of checking out library books. If you need business help, legal resources, or literally anything you come to a library for other than checking out a book, either they don't know how to help you or won't.
Everyone is always so helpful! There are a lot of resources in addition to numerous books!
I absolutely love this place! Unfortunately I sometimes don't get to come here but when I do, it is very relaxing. The only thing is, I have to either eat or drink before or after I arrive because they don't allow food or drinks there. Honestly, I understand that rule. But that's why I usually can't stay there as long as I'd like to. But it has the greatest atmosphere for people like me who are just looking for a little bit of peace and quiet. I only wish that I could stay a little bit longer sometimes.
They seem to have a nice selection, but getting a card is worse than getting a driver's license. Seriously- you have to visit 3 times to check out more than 3 books. the first time you fill out a postcard and they MAIL IT TO YOU and then you have to bring it back to prove it is you. Then you get a card but can only check out 3 books. THEN when you bring those back you can check out more. It is easier to get a Driver's License which is a valid ID in, well, everywhere, except the Morristown Library where it is useless. Go to the Jefferson City Library.
As a teenager I checked out a book and returned it albeit possibly not on time as my mother picked and chose as to which times she would take us places and we were not allowed to roam around anyways the librarians alleged that the book was never returned. Staff is rude and pick on people.
Have barely any toys for kids and the lady in t he children’s room was rude and abrasive. She demanded that my baby have shoes on or we leave the library. I had to do ram to the library director In order to complain. Any mother knows how hard it is to keep shoes on a small child...
My husband loves the peace and quiet naps frequently
I love this place. It is my home away from home. And the librarians are always helpful and friendly. Great place to go study
Always loved the Library. Great staff, plenty to read. I visit every week.
