My husband just received subpar and racist service here. He had purchased a shirt online with a gift card he got for Christmas that didn’t fit and came in to exchange it. He had the new shirt with the printed receipt and the tag that was detached from the shirt which was unworn and just purchased a few days prior. He came in with a really friendly, polite attitude and right away, the salesperson, Judy, questioned him: “we can’t take merchandise with the tags off. Why is the tag off? Why are you trying to return this?” Her tone was extremely rude and combative despite him being nothing but polite to her. After he told her to forget it and said he would just keep the shirt because the experience had been upsetting, she did a complete 180, changed her tone and said she was SO sorry he was upset and of course he could exchange the shirt. Isn’t it so soft?! We can’t have you in the wrong size! Etc. Her act couldn’t have been more fake and transparent. We were one of the only Black families in the entire mall and her treatment and the way she spoke to him was overtly discriminatory and unacceptable. It wasn’t really the store policy that upset us — it was her attitude and the way she talked down to and judged my husband. She only decided to change her behavior when she realized we would call her out on it. Will not be patronizing this store or company again and would urge other POC to stay far away.

This is one of the best shirt stores in the world, I travel looking for amazing shirts and this is one of my two go to stores and the other one is in Napoli. Great quality, great shirts and I've only ever had amazing service.

First time at a hammer made and had an excellent experience here. Finch got me into the right size for me and was extremely helpful. Top notch customer service hands down, can't say enough good things.
