We had a mobility accessible room booked almost 2 months in advance of our stay. Upon arrival, an accessible room was not available. The front desk clerk would not help us find another as “they have no way to do that.” We had to find a room in a city we do not know.Rooms: 1/5
I booked 2 room that were supposed to be adjoining. When I got to the hotel I was told they didn’t have adjoining rooms so we ended up with rooms beside each other. We were on the 4th floor. There was no air conditioning in hallway of the 4th floor and it was extremely hot. The thermostat on the wall in the hall had no cover and there were multiple wires exposed. One of the rooms was not thoroughly cleaned, I found an empty water bottle and other trash under the bed and behind the best side table. Later that evening we found out that neither of the rooms had hot water. I called the front desk and was told they had attempted to reset the breaker on the broiler, it wouldn’t reset and that we would not have any hot water. WiFi would not stay connected and there were post sticking out beyond the mattresses that several of our party hit their legs on. The AC in one room wasn’t cooling like it should and we got hot in the night. When I called the front desk requesting compensation, I was told I had to call the manager Monday morning. I tried to call the hotel and no one would answer the phone. This is by far the worst Hampton I have ever stayed in. The best part of the stay was the location near the event we were attending and the breakfast. Rooms: The beds we comfortable
I unfortunately have to agree with the other reviewers, this Hampton Inn is struggling. I travel for business in the medical field and my company always puts me in Hilton brand hotels. Never had any issues before, but this hotel was really bad. The thermostat didn’t work and the room was so uncomfortably cold. The pool is completely green and looks like it hasn’t had upkeep in years. I carry frozen medication with me and this is the first Hilton brand hotel I’ve ever stayed at that didn’t have a mini fridge so I had to rely on ice for my meds. The window shade was broken which made my room very bright from all the street lights outside and the sun coming up in the morning. Also just as a heads up, the first floor smelled very strongly of weed. It didn’t bother me but I do want to point it out in case that would bother you. I did give it two stars because the location was good and convenient to the site I needed to go to.
If you like your rooms carpet soaking wet and the aroma of mildew, this place is for you! Spent the 1st night in a room with wet carpet and AC working at about 40%. They were kind enough to move us to another room the next night with an even worse situation. I don’t know about you, but putting your feet on wet carpet when you leave your bed in the middle of the night, just makes you feel clean and comfortable. Pool is out of order and filled with stagnant dark green water. Front desk is mostly missing an employee if you have any issues. Seriously, no idea what management could possibly be thinking right now. Goodbye and good luck, NEVER again.
This hotel was just ok. I only stayed because there was no other hotels available. I don't think they really clean the rooms. The bed was so itchy and had crumbs under the sheets. The manager on duty did not greet me the morning of check out. All he said was "room number "... I will not stay there again. The only positive was their wonderful breakfast. The ice machines were so dirty.
If you need a hotel room to visit family in the hospital Baptist Memorial Then it is very convenient to stay there. But that's it !Because there is not a refrigerator or microwave in the regular double room , only one ice maker worked in the entire building. Breakfast was OK, but they stopped serving at 9am , which is too early if you stayed up later, visiting your family member in the hospital the night before! Also, be very careful about your vehicle, my Car was broken into broad daylight. Fortunately, the manager saw the thief right after breaking my back window , remove all valueable from your car!!!!!!!!! Only stay there if you need access to the hospital next door. Safety: Family member car was broken into in the parking lot.
Avoid this location at all costs. Every morning of my stay I would walk to the parking lot and notice multiple car windows busted and burglarized. Luckily I saw google reviews and removed everything from my vehicle that anyone would want to steal. Customer service was terrible, front desk workers were incredibly rude. Never felt welcomed at all. Also, I ask multiple times for trash bags, fresh towels, and an ice bucket. I never received any of these things through the duration of my 3 night stay. I would’ve cancelled my stay and looked elsewhere for lodging, but there was no way to get a return on my payment.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Read the reviews. This place is dangerous. My vehicle was broken into along with five other truck / cars. When I reported the break in to front desk the very first thing they said was "the hotel was not responsible ". You would think they would have said something symantec but since this happens so often they went right into defensive mood. The rooms were also well below Hilton standards. The room I was in needs several repairs and was not very clean. Safety: Many auto break ins
Worst experience at a Hilton family hotel ever. Felt more like a cheap knock off hotel, rooms were stuffy and did not feel clean. Air conditioning didn’t work and was told they would get us a new room in the AM, which we was ok with. But we woke up to find our car, along with 15 others being broken into. Somehow this location has “security”, but these thieves were able to break into multiple vehicles by busting windows without being noticed. Then come to find out this is an on going problem. We decided to check out and move locations and couldn’t get any money off the room for the no AC or even the fact they knew there had been multiple break inns and never once warned any of the customers. Luckily Hilton customer service is not like the bunch that runs this hotel and they made things right and was very understanding. Highly recommended that no one stay here as it is not only horrible but sounds like it runs rampant with crime.
