I love this supermarket. It's clean, the prices are great, and the employees are very friendly. I just wish their app worked. I've tried everything and can't get it to work. I highly recommend shopping here.
Hi, I’ve been to this store before many times and always had a good experience. However today I called at 10:43 a.m. to order a sandwich platter for tomorrow. I was told by the worker on the phone that his manager was gone and he didn’t know the answer, so I should call back. When I called back, I was told by the woman who picked up that I was mistaken and I had called a different store and had never spoken to anyone and my 24 hours was up so they couldn’t help me anyways. I have it on my phone as speaking to someone at the same number at 10:43 and I respect the 24 hour rule which is why I TRIED to call in advance, but I don’t think it’s fair to give your customers instructions and then when they respect those instructions to tell them they’re out of luck. If you don’t have enough bread, just say that. Don’t act like I never spoke to someone when I know full well I did. Also, they didn’t even ask when I was ordering for and had no idea. I could have been ordering it for dinner tomorrow which would be well within the 24 hour rule.
The shelves were empty and since they were empty it gave us the opportunity to see how disgusting the shelves and under them were. Employees were not in any way in a good mood and but very helpful when asked questions. Definitely won't be going back to this Hannaford. Also the parking lot was littered with carts that were not in the corals.
Staff was not helpful and not pleasant when I asked about the water station. She was rude and said it's been gone. I asked if I can recycle my containers here, she aaid rudely there is no room in the store, i do t know what to tell you . Bought a fruit vanilla cake fruit was molded and I brought it to a memorial party very disappointed
Unusual While shopping had to evacuate the store. Slow response from FD. All cleared in about a half hour. Employees did quickly checkout returned customers but also lost many that drove away.

Hilarious. I'm rating Hannaford but it's a picture of Moe's. Cheaper than price chopper. Meat and seafood sections not as good as price chopper.
Just shopped at this Hannaford. I love this supermarket group and seak their stores in the northeast. My experience in the Rotterdam Hannaford was very below par. Going into the store to pickup some meat, I went to the meat displays and picked up a package from the cooler shelves. I was disgusted with what I saw. The bottom corner of the shelf was laden with dried blood from leaking meat packages, obviously not cleaned. I left and went to the Guilderland store where the experience was much improved. I hope Hannaford can improve their Rotterdam store to the level I have come to experience in other stores in the Hanaford chain. They are great grocery vendors.
It can be a bit pricey sometimes but always well worth it. Great place to shop
Nice place to shop, and if you stick with sale items, you can get quite a bit.
