My husband is the type to read everything. As there was a lot to read, we were there quite a while. I enjoyed seeing all the old bikes and learning more of Harley history. We had a nice lunch at the restaurant. Good selection of food and fair prices, comfortable atmosphere, and excellent service. My husband and son enjoyed getting to test ride the new 2023 lineups, including the Live Wire. The one thing that would have been nice would have been an area inside the museum where the ones who make it through quicker could get a cold drink and sit to relax. All in all, I still give a five-star rating
Absolutely stunning museum that pays homage to Harley-Davidson’s roots and everything since. Great layout that takes you along a timeline from the first Harley motorcycle to the most recent. Thousands of bikes on display. Helpful and passionate employees. Sparkling exhibits. Whether you’re a motorcycle enthusiast or not, you’ve got to check this museum out.
Great place if you love Bikes and History of it's use. All Bikes across Harley are in display and the latest ones for you to hop and get a feel. A bit more interactive displays would be lovely to have though.Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$21–30
Never had a chance to go while I lived here and man did I miss out on it until now. So much history in one place and so much to see. Seeing the older bikes really is something especially when you never get to see them up close ever. The restaurant is delicious and the shops are a must. Go enjoy the history here because it is awesome.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entry$16–20
Absolutely fantastic. The cost is around 20$ a person. If you are a hog member, it is free. The effort and time put into preserving the history is commendable. I posted several pictures of the bikes. There are video documentaries there you can watch as well. They have a wall of all the tanks. They have a room with just the engines. I can't say enough. If you are a motorcycle enthusiast, add this place to your list. I would plan on spending a couple of hours here. There are plenty of spots to rest. Clean bathrooms.
Here's a few photos of what to expect in the museum! Me and my partner went during the Harley Davidson festival so it was VERY busy. It's a very cool place to check out. I don't know much about motorcycles but seeing all the old ones and the difference paint jobs was pretty cool and more up my alley. I do recommend if you're checking out Milwaukee to check this spot out!
The museum was very well put together. The staff was friendly and helpful to anyone who was there. Unfortunately I didn't have time to eat at the restaurant though. Next trip that will happen. The way the museum is mapped out, the quality of the pieces, and the audio self tour info really makes it fun. Just a few photos. Don't want to ruin it for your visit.
Very interesting with lots of exhibits, interactive content and lots of information. Lots of old & modern motorcycles . If in the UK please visit the Triumph factory tour it’s well worth a visit.
My father and I have always been motorcycle fans and when we found out that the Harley-Davidson showroom was in Milwaukee we had to go. They have two tour options and audio guided tour where you just walk at your own pace. We decided to walk at our own pace and had an amazing time looking at all the history of where Harley came from to where they are today. They have some absolutely amazing machines on display like the old school postmaster bikes, world war I and II sidecar bikes to there current selection. It was truly amazing seeing where they started and how far they've come and it definitely made my dad smile and brought back some amazing memories for him of when he used to work on his old Harley. They also have a restaurant bar and wedding venue there which I thought was amazing there was a wedding going on while we were visiting everyone was super cool could be a great spot for a wedding for any bike enthusiast. This is a must see when in Milwaukee.
Amazing machines are on exhibit. Wonderful collections. There is a ton of history huge read and study. In addition, there are stores, a café, and a factory outlet. There is no reason for anyone to skip this museum. $22 for each adult. thrilling as well as an enriching experience for bike enthusiasts.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$21–30
