Our mission at Harmony Public Schools is to prepare each student for higher learning in a safe, caring and collaborative atmosphere through a quality learner-centered educational program with a strong emphasis on math, science, engineering and technology.
The Cosmos Foundation, non-profit parent organization, has been operating nine (9) successful high performance charter schools in Texas. The first charter, Harmony Science Academy-Houston, was established in August of 2000 and was rated exemplary in 2004, 2005, and 2006. Harmony Science Academy–Austin began operation in 2002 and was rated recognized in 2004, 2005, and 2006. Harmony Science Academy-Dallas commenced operations in 2004 and was rated recognized in 2005 and rated exemplary in 2006. Harmony Elementary-Houston just completed its first year and was rated academically acceptable.
Harmony Science Academy - Northwest's vision is to enable students to succeed in school and in the workplace, and to provide an option for students to enter math, science, and engineering careers. This will lead to students becoming productive and responsible citizens and even Nobel laureates.
