Welcome to Harper Greer!
My husband, John, and I founded Harper Greer over 30 years ago.
We've had quite a life since then. We wholesaled, retailed, designed
and had a small factory in San Francisco---making clothing for plus size women.
In the summer of 2012, we found the perfect spot in Uptown Oakland
to open a new store. We've always lived in the Oakland/Piedmont area
and wanted a store closer to home.
This store is different from our previous stores;
we carry sizes from 8-24.
and don't make our clothing anymore. We shop the market
several times a year and curate a collection of
clothing and accessories just for you.
We love our new location! It's an up and coming neighborhood
with lots of exciting things going on.
There are tons of great restaurants within blocks of our store.
Pican, Luka's Taproom, Plum Bar, Calavera, Flora, Agave, Mua,
Drake's Bar, Duende and Izzie's Steak House to name a few.
The Paramount Theater is a couple of blocks away.
They host a monthly speakers series, classic movies,
the Oakland Symphony and more.
We're only three blocks from 19th Street Bart.
We will pay your parking in any lot in our area.
Just spend $50 or more, tell us where you've parked
and we'll reimburse you.
