Dr Hansell's training as a board certified family physician has been enriched by additional training in integrative medicine, medical acupuncture, functional medicine, and fitness coaching. Dr Hansell received her medical degree from UNC- Chapel Hill and completed family medicine residency at Duke University Medical Center. She received her acupuncture training in China as well as at the UCLA Helm's Institute Medical Acupuncture Course for physicians. She also has received training in integrative medicine and functional medicine through Dr Andrew Weil's conferences, Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine conferences and Institute of Functional Medicine conferences.
