Harrison Co Public Library

Oh man. I had a rough time in here today and just feel like I should share this so the library is aware. I am a Big Sister with BBBS. I brought my little sister to the library. I was told by the first librarian that my card for Jeffersonville Township will work, they will just need to call to make sure I am in good standing. I called my library to make sure and when I passed my phone to the *other* librarian, the rules had changed. She told me no, that was not the case. And that’s totally fine! I understand there are rules in place. However, she was so mean! Very aggressive. I felt like was being reprimanded for something I didn’t have any idea about. I left very confused and anxious. My little sister was scared as well. Not a good look for a library…

I found this Cooking with Class Tailgating Foods online, so my husband and I decided to go and check it out. So glad we did. Everyone was so friendly & made us feel welcomed! We learned 3 different recipes & got to eat what she made! Yummy!! Wonton tacos, avocado salsa & a cheesy dip I don't have the recipe sheets near me or else I would've put the correct names LOL. We will definitely have to come for another class :

One of my favorite libraries, especially because of the staff. They have all kinds of classes, and their tea parties are over the top. If there is anything you need just ask, they are all helpful, kind, and creative ladies!
