The Boone County Library will serve as the primary resource for the informational needs of all citizens of Boone County and other patrons. Services will be focused on lifelong learning, intellectual stimulation, cultural enrichment, and recreational reading. The public library is a symbol of freedom and bastion of democracy in our culture. The Boone County Library is dedicated to upholding those traditions and the public's freedom of access to information and knowledge.
We have over 84,000 items in our collection with more than 75,000 different titles of fiction, non-fiction, oversized books, biographies, science fiction, westerns, mysteries, large-type books, new releases, paperbacks, Arkansas books, reference books, Ozark Small Farms materials, magazines, newspapers, videos, audios (cassette and CD), music CD's, Cd-roms, genealogy, easy books, juvenile fiction, non-fiction and reference books, Young Adult fiction and non-fiction, juvenile videos, audios, Cd-roms, and magazines. You may register to vote at the library, and we also carry tax forms during tax season.
