Extremely untrained police officers and very dangerous to the public. These officers will end up using millions of dollars from taxpayers in lawsuits filed for their inconsiderable lack of knowledge of the law!!
This precinct has officers that lack of compassion: In July 2016, I was going through a difficult time in my own personal life when I was rightfully so pulled over/given a minor ticket for speeding, and after receiving a ticket, I burst out into tears -- the ticket was just icing on top. The police officer wanted me to "move along now or I will impound your car " as I was parked on a shoulder. And all I wanted was a few minutes to collect myself I was not obstructing anyone, as I was parked on a shoulder/off road, which to him, apparently is grounds for impounding. Now despite my minor incident, it makes me wonder how these officers treat others in worse situations. It seems like surely, they don't have the empathy or compassion necessary and seem to make up the law to generate revenue. I'm absolutely sure that my crying on a shoulder of a road isn't illegal as that officer stated.
Very bad police department. Look at all the lawsuits against them. Their former chief went to federal prison for tax evasion. Complete lack of professionalism as I saw in 2010. A complete danger to public safety and assets.
Watch the YouTube video of these clowns. Grade school education at best. Lawsuit and taxpayer funded settlements just waiting to happen.
In any experience I've ever had with the Harrison Police Department, the officers were courteous and respectful, all while doing a difficult job with professionalism.
Thank you HPD for patrolling our Schools!! You are so important to us all.
Not good Polices over there
