We splurged on the waterpark/bumper boat package. It's only a few bucks more and comes with the wetsuit rental. If you have Flying Squirrel on any other trampoline park socks, then bring those instead of being them on the doc. Was well organized, and the park itself was a blast for my older son and the other family we were with. My issue was more administrative. I was almost certain my 6 year old who is on the spectrum would either love it or hate it, so I asked when I was purchasing the tickets, if there was any chance for a refund if we got out there and he hated it; it's was a significant amount of money was approx $150 for 3 of us for the activity. They told me absolutely no refunds- which I get. It seems like that would generally be a fair rule. However, I feel like maybe there could be some option for those neurodiverse kiddos or literally any of the youngest patrons who can be a bit more of a challenge to plan for. I knew he'd probably hate it, but he was willing to try and seemed to be convinced he'd be into it, so i wanted to include him in the fun - it's our family vacation. He hated every minute of it and was freezing after a few minutes since he was scrawny, and the wetsuit was pretty big for him. We climbed up the climbing tower things and sat at the top, trying to stay out of everyone's way and get warm but ended up throwing in the towel and heading back to shore. I was just disappointed that I wasted so much money on yet another activity that 'was not for him'. It would be nice if they accepted the access2 pass, at least so it would have been quite so big of a hit $. I feel like it could be a bit more inclusive in regards to flexibility of the refunds - even partial. ‍ Anyways, I gave a 3 based on that; many other family activities have that flexibility, and it doesn't infringe on anyone else's ability to enjoy their visit. Aside from that, my older son 14 loved every second and would give a 5+ rating!
The park is very fun and well organized. You don't need to rent the wetsuit, just use shorts on top of your swimsuit. I highly recommend the socks, I would have a lot of difficulty walking around barefoot. My only complaint is the ramps to get back to the platform; it is difficult to pull yourself out of the water, even for taller or stronger people. They should put a ladder to help you get back. I have no upper body strength so it was not as fun as it could have been if coming back to the platform was easier.
Overall, it’s a cool spot for some water fun, but there are a few things you might want to know before you go. First off, bring a wetsuit if you can. The water can be pretty chilly, so having a wetsuit helped me stay comfortable while enjoying the activities. Now, I had a blast, but I have to be honest about something. The park could use some extra attention when it comes to cleanliness. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it’s worth mentioning so they can step up their game in that department. Also, when you’re planning your visit, keep in mind that there aren’t too many changing rooms available. So, be prepared for a bit of a wait, especially on busy days. And one more thing – there aren’t any showers around. After a day of splashing around, a quick rinse would’ve been nice. So, to sum it up, Harrison Water Park is a fun place to spend your day, just remember the wetsuit and be aware of the few things I mentioned. Hope this helps you plan your visit!
Absolutely worth every penny! A must for all ages. We rented the wet suit, and it definitely wasn't needed it did protect us from burning, though. You get 2 hours of fun. My 12 and 13 year old really loved this experience as well as myselfVisited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYes
Very fun! We go every year. I love there is two hour time slots. Makes for it to never be over crowded. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Every year they are more organized too! Book ahead online to avoid the lines and disappointment sometimes time slots do sell out. And I recommend renting the wetsuit and purchasing the grip socks. Both aid in making your experience better for being in the water and climbing respectively. This year I also bought the waterproof cell phone case, so happy I did; I got to bring so many memories home with me that I didn’t get to in previous years!
We loved it! I love the fact that they have groups and times already planned so the amount of people is not a problem. I'd say the wet suit helped more the slides than the not so warm water, I definitely recommend renting it. I can't imagine going down with my bikini I'll be burnt. The socks were amazing too and $5 for the pair is reasonable. If you have grid socks take them with you it'll help you a lot. The only thing I'll suggest is when we were getting to the main course on a little platform we couldn't hear a thing the lifeguard was saying because of the sound of the water and the bike, a megaphone could be enough for it, and I know those instructions are important so that one thing you guys can improve. Everybody was so nice and kind. Ps: If you are doing the bumpers use the green ones. We had a blast too.
Sasquatch Days in Harrison WaterSports and Waterpark June 17th & 18th, 2023 Much more fun! We stayed here for a whole day!
Amazing experience for kids. Before you get in , you have to wear swim suit they will provide and on top of that a life jacket. Lots of water fun which get lots of your energy after two hours. Honesty l could not stay more as it was hard to go on the floated island when you are in the water. In general its a nice place for kids but just be carful passing the slides as sometimes l could see people had accident while passing in front of the slides
Amazing fun, gets pretty busy in weekends. I would suggest go 1.5 hr earlier than your booked time.Visited onWeekendWait time30–60 minReservation recommendedYes
Bought tickets online and checked in early to get our stamps and then just go back to the launch area at our time slot. Super convenient and saved us any lines or waits. Lifeguards we're helpful and a few we're particularly funny. Made the quick float ride over entertaining. It was a hot day and we did not rent the wetsuits. Water was cold but totally fine. That said, the slides are steep and there is a couple plastic ridges where the seams attach at the bottom of the slides that we scraped ourselves on a few times which was painful and opted not to go down again. Would recommend longer shorts or the wetsuit to not only keep you warmer but to avoid scraping your bottom. Need good upper arm strength for some of the obstacles like the teeter totter and even getting back out of the water when you fall in. My son and nephews ages 11-12 had a blast, used the full two hours and all want to do it again. My 9yr old daughter had fun but after the slides she was in pain and wasn't much into it and stuck to the trampolines.
