So disappointed with patient service. I should have checked the reviews first. The sign in is confusing, the apps, then call, then check in...crazy. There was an English learner there that was confused and angry and instead of being understanding they stood there yelling at her. My poor choice. Greeting staff was dismissive. When ill or in pain, people need to be treated with compassion and caring. I did not find that here on my visits. A simple smile goes a long way.
Few weeks ago I came in for a scheduled appointment and waited 1,5 hour to be seen by a provider. A patient who walked in after me without appointment was seen before me so I asked the front desk why is that I am still waiting for my appointment I was told that I am next and it will take Just few minutes - few minutes wait turned into hour and a half. My visit was during my normal working hours and I was not happy to wait so long for scheduled visit. Giving two stars just because the PA I saw was helpful and profesional. I am not coming back.
I had a cough and congestion for a day over a week and was recommended fluticasone nasal spray and benzonate. I walked in asking if they were sure I shouldn’t have an antibiotic because this seems to happen to me every year and was told they were very sure there was no reason to think that. Next day stuff made me feel sicker. Called in twice, was told I’d get a call back, never did, went somewhere else and was given an antibiotic very quickly and now feel much better. Nice atmosphere and polite people but didn’t get the best help.
Avoid this place at all costs, quite literally...I was having some moderate to severe symptoms so I decided to go to urgent care where I was basically scammed for 200$. I was auto enrolled in auto pay with no notification or paperwork, and the doctors visit was terrible. They didn't investigate and told me to go take some OTC medicine even though I informed him I was already doing so and now over a month later with my symptoms still persisting i have to see a specialist because of extreme negligence of this center. Visit at your own risk.
I came here because I was symptomatic of the flu. I honestly didn’t have an issue until I got an emergency work call. The gentleman who is an APRN came in and advised me “I need to get off my phone or wait in the lobby there are people here”. …HUH? I was honestly baffled…. There were three other rooms with no patients being attended to. My frustration is why be upset at me when 1. You’re taking a patient at a time. 2. Lack of staff unless these urgent cares are ran by one PA. I understand a phone call is not orthodox in a visit but it happens And evidently I ended up waiting several minutes while they started to put patients in the other rooms. So what was really the big deal?
Something unfair happened to me, I went to the clinic and checked walk in but at the same time I was waiting outside because I had my son with fever and doesn’t keep mask on so I was thinking about other patients to protect them in case my son has Covid. I went inside to ask how long is my waiting time, I was told like 15-20 minutes but people who were checking in after me they went inside to see a doctor and me with a little kids with a fever waiting there for my turn.
If I could rate this clinic minus 10 stars I’ll do it. They are a bunch of incompetent people and liars. They will say everything just to keep people hostage waiting. I walked in this morning sick pregnant woman with a baby waiting home and I registered and they told me that I have to wait one hour. I did that and then after an hour I went to ask thinking that they forgot or I gave the wrong phone number. The girls in there said that there were 2 people ahead of me and it will take 45 more minutes. I waited one more hour outside for the text and nothing. I go back in and check the screen with the patients names in line, I don’t see mine. I go and ask how come that my name is not in the list and the girl said that because my name was in the bottom of the list. I ask how is that possible because I was waiting for 2 hours already and ask how many people were ahead of me. Those 2 people that they said in the begging became 16. She said that was because they check first people with appointments and then walk in, but that was a lie too, because the very first person in that line was a walk in patient. I don’t know if all that was discriminatory or what was the deal, but I don’t understand the lies.
If I could've given it a zero star I would But it does not let you post a review without a star rating. I have been here before and never had a problem but today was awful the girl in front must have been new & didn't know what she was doing! The girl training her was very rude.. long story short I spent more time getting registered then to be seen. The APRN was a male who was inappropriate & made me feel uncomfortable with his comments.
I specifically called beforehand to ask if they see infants as our son needed his ears checked. We were told to get there asap as they “close soon.” It was 6:45 pm when I called. We drive all the way there and are informed while checking in they do NOT see infants. Will not be recommending to anyone I know.
This is THE WORST urgent care I have EVER visited. I went there because it is close to my house. I went there for an ear ache. They did not check my ear properly just gave me antibiotics said it was a bacterial infection. That evening I was in extreme pain crying all night. I went back. They checked my ear again and said well you were diagnosed with a middle ear infection and now you have an outer ear infection. Gave me antibiotic drops. I said I was in severe pain but they did not give me anything for pain just said go take some Tylenol. I explained I couldn’t sleep at night and was crying all night. This didn’t seem to bother them. So I went home. I was in such pain I called an ENT finally and when I went they said that I was diagnosed incorrectly that I should’ve checked the infection that it was not bacterial it was fungal and the antibiotics made it worse and caused my eardrum to rupture! This is not the end of the story. After months my ear finally healed with the help of the ENT. I could not hear out of my ear properly for over three months. I should never have gone back there but one day my son was vomiting very badly and dizzy I panicked and it was the closest place so I went. The doctor did nothing for my son just talked to him and sent him home with anti-nausea medication. Fast forward a month later. I get a bill for $350 for his visit. My insurance covered I’ve had 115 of it so now I’m left with a bill over $200 for about a 10 minute visit for my son. Yet, when I went for my ear infection and spent more time there I didn’t get a bill. My son and I are under the same insurance. I have been trying to rectify this matter for two months. Wasting a lot of time on the phone with their billing getting nowhere. Billing told me to go back to the clinic to find out why such a high charge. I went to the clinic. They could not give me an answer the person admitted that she didn’t know why I was billed this much. She just said well if you don’t have insurance then this kind of is a cost about $125 so it’s not surprising that if you have insurance it’s more because we charge more if you have insurance. Does this make sense? What kind of policy is that? I am so confused by that and she just seem like she knew nothing of what she was talking about. They were rude and totally unhelpful. So now I’m stuck with this huge bill for like no service and before that I should be suing them for miss diagnosing me and causing my eardrum to rupture . Anyone have any suggestions on what I do now? I’m definitely never going there again. I am giving them no stars and I’m trying to figure out how I can sue them. I am a single mom so I don’t have any I need to hire a lawyer but maybe I’ll find somebody who can help me pro bono. Until then I guess I’ll just post all over social media to warn people. This place is insanely awful. Do not go there! UPDATE: On these posts it says to contact the wecare email to get help from them. I sent them my complaint and they blocked me. That’s really helpful from them. I have spoken with Senator Blumenthal‘s office and they are registering a complaint for me and starting a case. I’ve also talk to the insurance commissioner department and they told me to contact the department of public health to file a complaint so that’s my next step. Since they blocked me on email and will not talk to me. I will just proceed through the department of public health and Senator Blumenthal ‘s office. In explaining my case it was suggested that this urgent care is conducting insurance fraud.
