Dr. Shaughnessy and the entire team at Hartland Animal Hospital have been exceptional in their care of our beloved pups since the very beginning. We simply cannot envision entrusting our pets' well-being to any other facility. Their commitment extends beyond the clinic walls; they regularly follow up with us to inquire about our pups' health, a testament to their dedication not only to our pets but to every animal under their care. We love Hartland Animal Hospital. They have been so good to us for over 10 years and three different dogs.

After 2 months of our vet choosing to not run any sort of diagnostic tests and convincing us our cat was fine and to be patient, we instead visited WVRC and were immediately met with very concerned doctors. Unfortunately after a very simple test we were given a poor prognosis but they started us on a solid treatment plan that gave her the best shot possible. Sadly her disease had progressed too much and only 11 days later we lost our sweet girl. After having this very negative experience, I sent a very long detailed email explaining the issues we encountered. I stated multiple times I was not looking to blame anyone or insinuate they had bad intentions, but rather bring to their attention the lack of urgency and compassion we were met with. The only reply I got was the PDFs of all of my animals records which I had requested. I didn’t ask for them to take responsibility for anything, but I feel at the very least I should have received a response to the multiple customer service issues I brought to their attention. At least hearing an “I’m sorry for your loss” would have prevented me from writing this obnoxiously long review. The care and compassion this business used to hold is fading away. I hope Jeri and Scott still work there, I haven’t crossed paths with them this summer but in the past they both were always very helpful and compassionate.

Always polite and informative. They have taken care of our animals for years. They will get you on their schedule if there’s an emergency. They even have Sat hours!

The staff was wonderful! From the minute we first called to get our sick cat in to the very end, when sadly we had to euthanize, they were so kind and accommodating. Their prices are reasonable too. I would highly recommend this place!

These folks went out of their way to assist us with getting a prescription filled from a competing veterinarian that wouldn't help us refill the prescription from them without incurring an unnecessary$120 office visit. Very caring and helpful.
