Haverford Twp Recreation

Awesome community center! It's a beautiful property with walking trails, sports fields, and the best playground in the area for kids. The indoor track is great, it's the perfect way to get a walk in with air conditioning when it's too hot to be outside. The facility is also a great place to have events, I've been to a few there.

I visited on a summer weekday and hiked most of the center's short trails. I recommend getting a trail map because several of the trails overlap. The Atherton trail was my favorite. It offers a shady grassy footpath that overlook woods and a meadow. The Lenape Trail was also scenic. Note that the trails are shared with a disc golf course. There is an onsite parking lot with free parking, restrooms in the center and leashed dogs are welcome.

Staff at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful. Great place to work out for conditioning, toneing, peaceful, and quiet.

Great facility and helpful staff. Really appreciate the disc golf lost and found. Not as much as if I didn't need it, of course :D

Located on abandoned mental hospital grounds. The vibes are spooky and there are a lot of ticks. I would give 5 stars if there weren’t ticks

The turf was in great shape for the middle school football game. The area was very clean as well. Go Fords!

Attend cycle class here with Sandy. The class is awesome. The facility is BREATHTAKING. So clean. So bright. So welcoming. Staff is AMAZING.

It is a very beautiful recreational site with hiking trails as well as a nature center overlooking I-476 at the 9 Mile marker. There is a very nice Dog Park on site and athletic fields
