Les is wonderful! I called looking for a specific floor sample chair that had already been sold in my local store in Richmond, as well as other surrounding cities, and quickly connected with Les. He was able to locate the item and sent me photos from the floor, promptly responding to any questions I had in a professional manner. He was courteous and understanding, and never made me feel rushed to make a decision. I hope to work with him again. I also visited the Richmond store twice and had a great experience with Peter and Ty who were both very personable. Always feel like I get a great value for quality furniture when shopping at Havertys!
We bought furniture from Havertys back in 2017, and not only did they do a great job of giving us our space while we shopped, but being ready to help when we had questions. The furniture we bought was well built and we loved it. The delivery was smooth and they did a great job of setting everything up and cleaning up behind themselves. That's why, when we built our new house, we went right back to Havertys to purchase our furniture for this house. We experienced the same quality and curtisy of not trying to push themselves on us. Carl was our sales guy and he did a great job of being there when we had a question. We did not go there looking for the best price, we went there looking for the best service and quality furniture that last.
The service and selection were both outstanding. A knowledgeable staff answered all our questions, the quality of products carried were clearly superior to nearly every other furniture store in the area at very competitive pricing.
Teya Lamont was very helpful and knowledgeable. We really appreciated how she let us browse, but was able to answer all our questions. Her professionalism and product education made her stand out amongst all the other interactions we had while shopping all over the city today. Thank you Teya for your time and patience!

I had a really great experience at this store. All of the staff were kind and helpful. I was shopping for a family member with disabilities who has specific furniture needs, and everyone just went above and beyond to help.
We bought a table that took almost a year to deliver. That’s fine, I understand the crisis we are in. However, when we finally got the table it was defective. We had it for less than 6 weeks, used it twice and it started having water damage. The entire table is now unusable and completely ruined. Of course, it can’t be repaired and is not covered by the warrenty. This is extremely disappointing considering the table was almost $2,000 and we were not able to use it. I would NOT recommend buying furniture from Haverty’s to anyone.
We have made several purchases from Haverty's over the course of 10 years and have found the furniture to be long lasting and the customer service from sales to delivery to be professional and corteous.
We were promptly greeted, shown a variety of options and provided with outstanding customer service and support.
Luis is awesome! Took me straight to what i needed. Secured the purchased. Process was quick fast and in a hurry.
