The Head of Sequatchie is the spring where the Sequatchie River orginates. The land site is managed by the Cumberland Trail State Scenic Trail.
The Cumberland Trail State Scenic Trail is a 322+ mile long backcountry hiking trail that extends from a northern terminus at Cumberland Gap National Historical park to a southern terminus at Signal Point in Signal Mountain, Tennessee. The trail connects multiple National Parks, State Parks, Wildlife Management Areas, State Natural Areas and highlights many of the great natural, cultural and historical treasures of the Cumberland Plateau region.
