The mission of Health Foundation of South Florida is to be an investor and a catalyst for collaborations, policy and systems change that improves the health of South Florida communities, with a focus on vulnerable, low to moderate-income populations.
Our focus areas include: Healthy Eating Active Communities, Behavioral Health, and Primary Care.
A portion of our budget is also allocated to serving Other Community Health Needs.
Our initiatives include Live Healthy Community Partnerships. This initiative is using strategic and systemic efforts, to reduce poor health outcomes by engaging community residents to improve selected public health indicators, making an impact in the City of Miami Gardens and the neighborhood of Little Havana.
