Health Information Project (HIP) is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to empower high school students to tackle the health crises of their generation through a school-based, peer-to-peer, comprehensive health education program.
Be a part of the health revolution in your community! HIP empowers high school students to tackle the health crises of their generation.
Through interactive peer-led health discussion sessions, multimedia presentations, social marketing and health promotion activities, HIP provides an innovative approach to health education and healthcare access.
HIP believes that it is not only important to give students information but to also emphasize the importance of preventive health care and to assist students in accessing health care services in their local community.
During the 2017-2018 school year, HIP is working with 56 high schools, with 1,600 student peer health educators serving over 33,000 students.
