I have been calling for 2 weeks to get my medicine refilled. After 4 days they called it in to the pharmacy ! I was very impressed and thankful. Unfortunately the pharmacy was out of my medication. I have been calling everyday since to have it switched to a different dose or a different pharmacy. On Tuesday they called and told me they would call it in to Kroger. I explained to them how thankful I was considering I was completely out. At 3:43 I got a call stating the medicine would not be transferred because I needed to come in the office. What ?!?! It’s already been sent in ! It just needs transferred ! They told me to come on in and they said I could come on in and they would send it. I explained I was at work about 45 to an hr away but I’ll be there before 5 ! I left work early flew all the way there…. No one is there. I called. It’s 4:34 and no one is here. They proceeded to tell me that office is permanently closed and they would not be at the office by the time I could get there. They were going to put a msg in and call me back but the next call I got was Wednesday while I was in clinic asking why I didn’t show up. Then was told she would speak with the dr and get it switched over and here I am still without my medicine and no call back.
The clinic was closing within less a year of taking me. They NEVER answer the phones. I ask several times if they where closing, until it was quite obvious, finally admitted. The NP never spoke to me or made eye contact, typing the entire time. She changed my medications even through i informed her i was unable to deal with side effects. Took me off Xanax to Ativan. They don’t work the same and i was miserable for 6 months till she changed back and cut my dose. Understand Xanax is a highly sought after abused medication, but it works for severe panic attacks. Doe to regulations from DEA, my neurologist can’t prescribe being he medicates me for migraines. Its so hard to get the appropriate medication due to the few abusers. So sad for us who suffer from PTSD and panic attacks. Its the difference between surviving and thriving. Someone called me from HQ hours after my post. They seemed very concerned and willing to help resolve my issues, since they have other locations. If resolved I will post.
Have been trying to get my prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy my pharmacy said i needed to have the doctor's office do it...i knew it was gonna be an uphill battle for 2 weeks now. Spoke to a few people, left a couple of voicemails....to no avail. I had to go ahead and make an appointment thankfully I can do that online now so no problems there just to tell my doctor where to send my prescriptions from now on. Although I'll have to take off work...it seems like an easier option.
I've been seeing Dr Saini at this office for about two years now. Recently I have run out of my refills and the first available appointment was three weeks out. I have been told that RX refills will not be issued without being seen by the doctor first. Dr Saini also has an office in Cordova, and I was told by the office assistant that if you have already been seen at one office, you can not be seen at any other office location. This complicates me getting in to see the doctor sooner! I have made multiple requests for Dr Saini to review my file to issue a refill until I am able to get in at my next appointment in three weeks without any response. That's if you are able to get anyone at the office to answer at all. Dr Saini is a good doctor, but the office and/or staff is absolutely terrible!
The Nurse Practitioners are great. The office staff is rude, cold and unapproachable. The receptionist will barely look at me and is cold. The medical assistants who take the blood pressure, weight etc are hit and miss. The office staff needs to be replaced.
I've been going to the Southaven office for about 3 years now. I've never had any problems. The only thing is sometimes getting through to make an appointment. The office staff are very nice and helpful. The wait time is like 15 to 30 minutes. And the nurse practitioners have all been awesome. I drive 2 hours to get there, so I call to confirm my appointment. Them I'm in and out in no time. It's the easiest and quickest. Fixing to call for follow up appointment.
very frustrated and disappointed in this office. Have tried to call an get a follow up appointment and finally got though. I have been seeing Dr. Sani for over a year and was seeing a nurse practitioner before though his office. Recently have had awful time getting anyone to answer the phone at the Southaven office or even the Cordova office. I ran out of medication and simply can't get anyone to return my call or call in the prescription.
Don’t waste your time going to this place! My doctor referred me there for medication and counseling. My counseling sessions were cancelled 3 weeks in a row. The first time I showed up and found out at my appointment time that it had been cancelled. I hadn’t received a voicemail, phone call, or text to let me know beforehand. The next week the therapist was on vacation. The third week I showed up and twenty minutes after my appointment time the therapist told me he had to leave due to a family emergency. My main problem is NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE. I literally called for a week and half to try and make another appointment for counseling and for medication refills. I never got an answer and the voicemails were all full. Even when they’re not full they don’t bother calling you back. I called my doctor back and was sent to Journey To New Beginnings, so far it’s been a wonderful experience. At the very least they actually answer the phones!
Cant ever get anyone on the phone or too return phone calls . Appointment with Mandy are great ! Unfortunately shes no longer with the practice. My July 2 appointment was push out till Aug 19 . I'm pregnant and needed my meds for after I have my son . I'm so worried about after Delivery being I had Psychosis after I had my 2 year son . After finally speaking to a MA I was told I'd have to wait till my Aug 19 appointment. I worked in the medical field for 11 years and totally understand the Transition when losing a provider and the Impact it has on the Existing providers . However I'm very disappointed in the way it was handled being I'm pregnant and came off my meds for the safety of my baby..
If I could give zero stars I would.. My wife made an appointment and waited weeks for it only to be told they would not see her due to her arriving late. HOWEVER, she was not late. Her appointment was scheduled for 12:00 and she was sent a confirmation email stating to be there 15 minutes prior to her appointment, assuming to do paperwork. She signed in at 11:40 and the nurse practitioner refused to see her stating she should have been told to be there 30 minutes before the appointment. No one ever told her she needed to be there 30 minutes before and like I said earlier the email stated 15 minutes. The receptionist even agreed how ridiculous it was that she was being forced to leave without being seen. This place is a JOKE!!
