At Health Research San Diego, we are interested in how scientific discoveries can be used to improve health. Sometimes we post stories about the results of a study done by a researcher at UC San Diego or another top University or Medical Center. Sometimes our posts are about the doctors and other health care providers who use these discoveries to provide the best medical care and treatment. And sometimes our posts are about the people who participate in research studies and make it all possible. Science only makes a difference when it is put to use, and that’s what translational medicine is all about. Science happens faster when the community, medical providers and scientists are all working together.
