Don't bother trying to schedule an appointment if you don't have an insurance that makes them a ton of money. They discriminate against MNcare patients. They will only take you if you have a bad insurance that makes you pay most of it.
Worst dental clinic. They excepted my insurance, did X-rays and cleaning then called me a couple weeks after and said they cannot except the insurance because it was through the state. How is it possible they didn't tell me the day when I provided them my insurance card to scan it in the system. Another thing happened with them was I requested my X-rays to be transferred to another clinic by emailing them the authorization for release form filled out. Called them after 6 days- they told me they never received the form. I double checked the email was delivered they received it. By their fault I had to pay out of pocket for the X-rays at the new clinic. Rude customer service. They make you feel you did a mistake and that it was your ffault not theirs. Not professional. My advise don't go there.
I called to reschedule an appointment today and I was told that they are full for the month of August and September. The lady I talked to also said I have to call September 1st to see if I can get a schedule for October. So, I tried to call again and talked to another Health Partners representative and she was able to see a bunch of schedules available for August and September at Coon Rapids. In fact she was able to put me in for August 29th. I felt like the first representative just wanted to dismiss me and wasn't willing to help at all. Anyways, I am on the process of trying to talk to a manager or supervisor to see where the disconnect is.
Dr. Hoyme is great! I have bad anxiety, she is very patient. We talk about Candy Crush.
Can’t figure out how to schedule appointments. Literally called me to reschedule my daughters appointment again and offered January as the first appointment ? What a joke. I was seen sooner ! There is NO reason that there shouldn’t be an online scheduling option and that you have to fill out a form to request an appointment when health partners medical appointments can be scheduled through the app. Health partners should be ashamed of their garbage excuse for customer service.
I'm a big ol' sissy when it comes to going to the dentist. My nerves had been completely put at ease at this clinic! From making the call for an appointment to leaving after a root canal, I'm impressed! The staff was amazing, kind and compassionate. The receptionist even took the time to look at the schedule and see there was a cancellation for a root canal and I needed one. So I got a diagnosis and immediate care because of her. My husband had previously been to the Blaine location and felt like a burden. Once going to Coon Rapids he was very happy! Day and Night difference.
I think it's absolutely crazy that my family and I have been going to this clinic for 4 years and they will not schedule my 2 young sons for their first appointment because they are not accepting new patients. Understandably so, but if it's family of members that have been going to your clinic, they should be allowed to schedule. I will be taking my whole family to a new dental clinic. Unwelcoming service on the phone as well.
I have nothing but good things to say about this place! The customer service is awesome, the location is clean and inviting, the dentists and other employees are straight with you about costs and options to consider, and the friendliness is unrivaled by any other dentist office I've ever been to. They also don't charge an arm and a leg for their services. My dental insurance is a percentage plan, so this clinic makes it affordable. They also aren't pushy with getting treatment done. I especially like Dr. Sally Johnson's work there! She is a very good dentist and has great ethics. She took out a couple of my wisdom teeth back in 2011 and she was so gentle about it. She was able to schedule the appointment within days and the operation was quick. Experienced no complications! When I moved out of the area, I tried another dentist office that was closer to my new home. Horrible experience! They "discovered" problems with my teeth, and I was suspicious of their "findings." My suspicions were confirmed when I came back to Dr Johnson. She didn't find ANY of the "issues" my other dentist described. I decided it was worth driving the 60 miles back to this clinic every 6 months.You won't regret going to this place!
All I can say is ...Wow... I will start by saying I'm a 29 year old stubborn man that doesn't like the dentist. The customer service here was superb. Great on the phone. Exceptional in person. From top to bottom this place is operated with professionalism and friendliness. The receptionists, hygienists and doctors are great. I had to stop and consider scheduling in another six months because it was such a dare I say it pleasant experience. Of course my stubbornness piped up and I made it for the next year but I had to seriously consider it. On the business end they are not pushy and give you options. What a great experience at this dentist. I look forward to going again.
I love this clinic! Been going here for years, The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable and make sure i feel comfortable during my visit. If there is a cancelation they make sure to keep is in mind and call and offer us the spot. I would recommend going to this clinic!
