I waited an hour on hold and then when I finally got through I explained my situation and then the literally HUNG UP on me. The most unprofessional horrible thing I have ever experienced from any medical “professional”
This lady Alexa If that’s even her real name talk to me very unprofessional today. My son had a very bad tooth ache so I took him to a different health point for an emergency So she say he will not be able to come here anymore since I took him to a different health point one time in she say you can’t just be flip flopping Around that is not how you respond she very Rude and unprofessional at all cost And this is at the front Desk for dental or wherever she works there I think she flip flops all around the building if you ask me just the heads up they never answer the phone anyway save me a headache for being disappointed
After waiting 3 weeks for my appointment they denied our visit, staff stated they no longer except our back-up/second insurance. My problem? they’ve known since January2023 my appointment was May2023. A formal complaint was made, but we all know how that goes. So I’ve unenrolled my family of four after canceling our other appointments.
The front reception girl was super friendly. But that's the only positive thing I can say. I took my daughter in today for her first dentist appointment and for some reason, even though I asked over the phone if they took kids for dental, they had scheduled her for a medical appointment instead. They switched it no big deal. But when we went back they were very unfriendly and we're super rushed and forceful. They had me hold my daughter down while she was screaming. It was an awful experience, they didn't try to talk to her or soothe her. And then the floride stuff they used looked super stringy and almost looked like hair in her mouth. After that happened we went to leave and I went to cancel my dentist appointment that I made when I made my daughter's and they said I didn't even have an appointment in the system. I definitely won't be back.
They are the worst I have seen in my life. They would treat you so badly and it definitely depends on your race! I moved my family from this bad place . We would always report what would happen and nothing changes! The doctors are good but how they would treat people is so bad. If you call them you should expect a waiting time from an hour to two hours and at the end they will hang up on you!!!! The last visit my wife and daughter want to get a blood test to see if she needs the medicine she’s taking. The front office treated my wife the worst way possible and I really really believe it’s because of her realign and also because she doesn’t speak English. So thank you health-point for giving my wife and Daughter that experience. Never come to this clinic! Go anywhere else.
Do not go here. This place is unprofessional and sooo unorganized. Spent 10 mins on the phone with the receptionist to make a new patient appointment. She kept calling me “girl” as if we were friends. She also told me she wanted to take my baby, after telling her I was pregnant. After 3 weeks, I got a phone call asking if I wanted to switch my appointment. Then another voicemail saying it was given away, and that my original appointment was moved to 9am instead of 8am. I show up that day, at 9. Drove all the way there for them to tell me “we gave it to someone else.” This place is a joke.
Not only did I have to wait like a month and a half for my appointment, they also continue to have the wrong phone number on my file after I've had them change it 4 different times. It's always the same wrong number, despite the fact that each time I've given them my number, whoever I was talking to repeated it to me correctly.
Almost weekly I have to spend 40+ mins on hold just to TRY and set an appointment for like 1 month out. I have had shoulder pain that has been getting worse and worse, and they have done literally zero treatment since I have been complaining about it over a year. OVER A YEAR WITH ZERO TREATMENT! They treat you less than human, have no value of your health or time, do not give a single care. They expect you to give up and deal with your medical issues due to getting uselessly bounced around, before ever getting actual treatment or appointments. Do not expect any actual treatment, getting an appointment is a nightmare, and expect to be on hold just to set an appointment over the phone for about an hour. No wonder this is a free clinic. Homeless people with no insurance receive better treatment than you will at any HealthPoint facility.
Went there for two dental hygiene appointments and. Filling. Hygiene Experience: The lady was nice but she was not good. I came home with many spots on my teeth as well as overall poor quality cleaning. Dental experience: After I was done with the filling I was not able to close my jaw completely. I told the dentists that it does not sit and it need to be fixed. She looked at it once or twice and she basically kicked me out with a faulty filling. Now the extra filling is damaging my lower tooth and I can already feel it. On top of it there is a very sharp piece of filling left out between my teeth that she did not clean up. The Dentist was extremely rude and had an attitude. Please do not go to this location. That’s all I have for you.
Very small location, front desk staff needs some work. Overall a decent place, most of the doctors are great here. They do have a pharmacy here. Dental and psych are available here as well. New location
